Ozzy was always captivated by Randy's guitar playing. He just stares at him so often during shows because he was just a fan when Randy played.

I was lucky enough to see Randy's last show in Knoxville . I stood first row to the stage in front of him. It was a great show, I was 16 , but, I will never forget seeing Randy.

Randy Rhoades will forever be one of the best guitarists that ever lived. He had such a presence about him. He definitely shined like a bright light.

Congratulations! You've discovered the G.O.A.T. Randy Rhoads he was obsessed with music knowledge from the earliest age. His mom owned a music school. He wanted to leave Ozzy and get a master degree from UCLA in classical music. He could play any style of guitar. He wrote a song for his mother on the last album called Dee. Also on that last album was the master piece Diary of a madman. Probably the only rock song ever written in Hungarian minor (two flats) the most sinister key \mXm/ Had he lived there's no telling what he could have created. He was only 25 when he died.

I was blessed to have seen Randy and Ozzy on the Diary of a madman tour on February 12 1982! Randy was and is still my all time favorite guitarist. RIP brother 😢

I've seen a lot of guitarists but RR had something extra above everyone else - the tone - the vibe - the stage presence - the musical sense - the killer riffs - and solos that Bach might have written, only shoe horned into heavy metal songs. Randy was and still is sensational!!

Randy is already in the conversation. But he passed at age 25. Imagine him being around another 25 years and growing in his music and the way his style may have changed. I’m of the belief that had that plane never went down he would’ve been the greatest guitarist of all time. Also want to take a second to recognize Zakk Wylde who came into the band after Randy. He never tried to replace what Randy was to Ozzy, he came in and played his own style, paid his tributes to Randy, and Zakk kicked ass as well. No more tears is one of my favorite Ozzy songs.

Possibly my all time favorite song and music video. Randy rhoads was possibly the best guitarist of all time which is wild considering his short span him and the bassist Rudy Sarzo came From quiet riot. If you haven’t yet check out diary of a madman Randy’s guitar work in it is incredible

Cool late night studio venue for this track. The great Tommie Aldridge on the drum kit and Rudy Sarzo on bass. Quite the all-star lineup.

Yes, Yes... I seen Ozzy and company on this very Tour and Randy Rhoads was a real badass on the guitar! At that time there was alot of people saying that Randy was or did De-Throne Eddie Van Halen as the King of all the guitarist`s....

Ozzy's best lineup ever! With Randy, Tommy Aldridge kicking ass on drums, and the great Rudy Sarzo on bass. I also saw the tour in the summer of 1981.. we drove 8 hours to see it, and it was general admission. We were about 6 feet from Ozzy and Randy, right at the stage. I would rate it as the best show I've ever experienced, out of about 400 concerts.. just incredible and amazing!.

Aleister Crowley (born Edward Alexander Crowley; 12 October 1875 - 1 December 1947) was an English occultist, philosopher, ceremonial magician, poet, painter, novelist and mountaineer. He founded the religion of Thelema, identifying himself as the prophet entrusted with guiding humanity into the Æon of Horus in the early 20th century. In the religion of Thelema, it is believed that the history of humanity can be divided into a series of aeons, each of which was accompanied by its own forms of "magical and religious expression" There are many notorious houses worldwide, but one of the most storied is Boleskine House, the former home of occultist Aleister Crowley and Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page. A strange case; many believe it to be a portal to hell, with the house’s past deeply rooted in the macabre and the eerie. Situated on the southeast side of Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands, although it is now used as a holiday home, for a long time, this isolated abode was not the tranquillity base that it seemed, making it one of the most intriguing dwellings in all of Britain.

Friend there are interviews and Ozzy agrees with you 100%. Actually when he got kicked out of black Sabbath Ozzy was depressed and discontent. It was hearing Randy's guitar that kicked his ass into gear again. He has always surrounded himself with the best of the best.

Yes, Ozzy in the 80s took back his life and career and produced some great music, this being one of many brilliant tracks. For a cool Ozzy deep cut off the Ultimate Sin, try Killer of Giants, one his best epics that no one reacts to. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶

This is a great Ozzy tune, with some great vocals with the masterful guitar works of Randy Rhoads who died in a plane crash in 1982. They were not on good terms when Randy died. Ozzy wanted to do a Live concert at Maple Leaf Gardens, while covering, Black Sabbath tunes. Randy Rhoads and Tommy Aldridge felt covering the songs was a step back in their careers and refused to participate. A few days later Rhoads died in a plane crash. Sad story. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Tim. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Let’s not forget that despite his “wild man” reputation Ozzy was just a humble, often vulnerable, guy from the West Midlands who enjoyed the lifestyle he was presented with. And what a legend he has turned out. He created heavy metal with Sabbath and then became even greater as a solo artist and discovered some of the greatest guitar players ever. There will never be another Ozzy.
