Re negativity, your content has helped me immensely. At 48 I decided on a career change, passed my ACS in April and I’m now a couple of weeks away from leaving my job and starting on a new adventure. Pete I watch all your videos and never commented on one before I was just a plumber on the agency never enjoyed it just did it to pay the bills and hated plumbing. Until I was off work after a heart attack at 41 years old and found you tube I never liked day time TV, you opened my eyes to plumbing and changed the way I work and I decided to start working for myself got my gas safe via foundation and portfolio not easy. I now work as a jobbing plumber one man and a van. I don’t advertise work on recommendation and word of mouth and take pride in jobs. Same as you and I would like to thank you for that. When I was off I watched you Dr pipe London and heating geek. I have taken a bit from all of you. Now I wait for the next video and try to learn from it. Never stop what your doing I bet for every negative comment there are thousand people like me silent viewers who should comment more often to give you the support to carry on doing it. Your fitness stuff is also good I should of watched it before and may of taken advice on your diet I may not of had a heart attack kebabs beer and fry up’s caused mine plus smoking thanks to you changed my way of thinking and lifestyle Danny.

I enjoy all of your videos. The basic day to day plumbing stuff is always interesting, but so is the varied other content. Please keep it all coming, and thank you for all the effort you put into it.

For that zone valve head change it would have been a lot easier for you to use a regin connector! I know it’s best to go to the wiring centre but would have saved you a load of time on that particular job!

I like seeing what goes on at these manufacturers it’s always interesting to see. You put out the content you want, people will always criticise no matter how good or bad a video is 👍👍.

Great video PB It’s great to see other engineers out in the field coming across bad work and being unsure how to deal with it.. in my experience I’ve always wanted to speak to the last engineer on-site and hear their side/take on a bad find… we all from each other

I use a bit of folded up blue roll between the drill and the radiator when agitating - saves scratching the paintwork 👍

I've loved your videos and followed you since day one. I'll be honest and say its became a channel for promoting and earning, which is fine. Its your channel. But I do miss the bread and butter of why I started following you and the lack of videos of late which you touched on. I'll continue to watch your videos but be great to see more videos and more bread and butter. Learned a lot of useful tips from you, it's been great. Pete with regards the hole in the old boiler would you have spotted the hole if you had been to service the boiler ?? If it was obvious from inside that it had been bodged up then a phone call should be made to the guy. If he says he didn't see it then consider a report because this might not be the only thing he's missed or ignored . I appreciate I puts you in a tricky position.

Pete, Do what you want and in the time that works for you, its your channel after all. You can't please all the people all of the time. If people don't want to watch, then that's their personal choice. They can't whine about things like they don't like. Do they whine about what's on BBC2 right now. My personal perspective, variety is good. I don't always watch everything such as the software you use for quoting, as I don't work in your field and that's my choice, but I don't whine about that either as you teach me a bunch about things I don't know about. I'm not sure why I watched the video on your and Marcus doing the rusty underground pipe replacement, but it was fun so you got a thumbs up. Take care.

Pete, you film what and where you bloody well want to film. Those of us who really appreciate the channel enjoy you presenting everything you film. If it's not strictly plumbing, it's usually a nice change of pace. As for the blokes who want to moan because what your filming might be "off topic", well piss on them! You can't make everyone else happy all the time. If it's interesting to you mate, then I'm sure most of us will enjoy seeing it too.

However I do like your fault finding and instruction videos, As Im brand new to the trade. Keep up the great work. Compression tights can help the rough evening after a big run. However getting miles in the legs has no sort cuts. keep up the great work. Ps I would have done what you did give him a call he might not have been the one to change the pump end of the day job not see the hole not sure.

Pete, nice videos, keep on going, I take it you checked the synchron motor before going to all that trouble of changing the head? Also, I think someone mentioned of using a 5 wire connector instead of rewiring into those metal boxes.
