@@KoonTrucking I'm happy with mine so far its a 2012 peterbilt 386 mx13 455hp .I just have some oil leaks on the timing cover area I'm trying to pinpoint .front main seal timing cover gasket oil pan area

On 2018 KW T680 with PACCAR oil pressure sensor, , it on left side by Turbo behind Water pump, And Exactly Straight up on Oil filter in Engine block. There are 2 kind, One with 4 pin, and one with 2. Usually 4 pin goes bad soon. And it's 3pin female on wire plug, and 4 pin male on sensor. Don't worry it designed to fit it supposed to. Very easy to replace. KW charge 1. And half labor, @ 179.99 dollars an Hour. Plus 52 dollars for parts. Plus digonostic charge minimum starts at 250 dollars. Around 518. And if u can do it, it be less then 30 minutes job, and 48 dollars part. Make sour you remove the oil filter, gets very easy. Stay safe and keep engine safe.

THANKX A LOT for video. I have Paccar MX13. I do not have a computer to check codes. So when engine got Check Engine I bring truck to Pet Shop. They replace NOX sensor $1,050. Now truck ran 415500 miles, and it has another, when truck idling, or drive very slowly, the lights up High Exhaust Temperature, and Check Engine, and Stop Engine, but when drive on Hwy no problem, it is make regeneration. So I had to call to Pet Shop, my mechanic said it is probably time to clean up DPF. But I ran on this truck only 1 year. I bought the truck at Pet dealer with mileage 280000, dealer said we did clean DPF. 2 weeks ago I was try to remove DEF doser to clean hole, and check doser condition, and I broken a bolt, so the doser still hold on 2 bolts. Possible the broken bolt is the cause of Check Engine

Oleg Vishnevskiy i wouldn’t think so but it could be ? If it isn’t derated then I would run it and see what happens. It might just need to run a few regens or even possible make you do a Manual regen (parked regen). With those engines many times there are glitches that will throw a code or a simple thing that doesn’t really affect the driving or pulling. If all your vitals are good on the truck (oil, water and temp) just run it.

Koon Trucking Thankx for answered, but my truck does not have manual regen, I asked a mechanic at Pet Shop, he said, Paccar has auto regen it is work when truck run. And I already drop my truck tonight at Pet Shop, on Monday mechanic will start diagnostics my truck at 6:30am.

I can tell the whole truck is brand new. New sensor already? All those sensors look the same, wonder if their interchangeable? Turbo sensor, oil pressure sensor, etc. Also, dont hit the plastic as it will break and you’re out $120.

Thanks for the great video glad you fixed the problem in house and saved that money. I always liked the o ring kit just seems like one gets used more than the others. I had a boss that when I asked for replacement o rings of that one size he would get two or three. I gave up on him and got the amount I needed. Sorry for rambling on just thought I'd put my experience in there. Thanks for the video I like these ones

If he would have just replunished what was used would have been great. I worked out of a service truck and you get to a job site and need more than one or need a part you don't have much choice. They really hated when I overnight parts to the job site. I would in the case of the o ring order more than what I needed. Simis I couldn't keep up on the stock on my truck. One of these days I will do a video of my journey in life.

Mine didn't have an oring and the new part doesn't have an orange. 2014 peterbilt... should I add one? The plug won't even line up currently.

Mizael Salazar that was an mx13 in the video. If you have the hose pliers they work best for taking the wires off instead of a screwdriver haha but that’s all we had then.

If you get a chance, could you show how the upside down fuel filter gets changed and primed. I have looked all over the internet and have not seen anything on it nor on what kind it even is. Lookin at one of the paccar motors with this thing and a metal fuel filter instead of the cartridge just like this one.

I looked at that one but the clear plastic filter is right side up so I am assuming, oh god you know what that means, that that filter and this one are the same type and done the same way and the metal fuel filter is just like any other. I am a little embarrassed as I used to work on trucks but never have encountered the upside down clear filter.

We clean ours annually during the DOT inspection, don't really have issues with them since doing that

@@bb-ob5cc No problem, they get sooted up pretty easy but If you stay on top of it they aren't bad. We use a little copper anti seize on the threads

After and oil change,my oil pressure is suddenly running about 100 psi on my 2015 MX 13. It had been running around 65-80. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Other than it being cold new oil ? Maybe it was a touch thicker because it is colder ? Did it come down after u ran it for a little bit ? Also could be a different brand or weight oil ?

Koon Trucking I just bought it a couple months ago. I put the Delo 400 it it because it had their sticker on the frame. No leaks No codes Thanks for the response.

It’s probably the difference in oil or filters that was on it. We always run Mobil del vac in our paccar engines.

Dealers they make mistakes sometimes they charging you, but they’re not replacing the parts. I catch them right handed couple times Paccar is the most corrupted company on the Earth. 😢😢😢
