I think a lot of people forget that most anime, unless it's anime original, are there to advertise the source material. PS: Diablo's name, along with the Demoness Trio's names, come from supercars.

Even in the light novel they switch perspectives with who's fighting where and when.

Ngl wish they did more for rimuru vs hinata too the struggle of hinata and how she used her experience to put rimuru on the back foot to show how much this is a stalemate and how broken Rafael really is

I love the world and characters of Slime so much that i dont mind 3 or 4 meeting episodes in a row honestly. Because i know i just have to be patient in order for the "good stuff" to happen later. The pacing is also only a slight issue when the episodes get released. On a rewatch (binging), its no problem at all imo.

As someone that reads the manga monthly, I can understand folks saying that the pacing is slow. The past year of reading Slime reminded me of that stretch when Attack on Titan (manga) was experiencing tons of exposition and story telling before the last arc. With that said, Slime season 3 anime has much better pacing than I would have expected from reading it, and seasons 4 moving forward will be absolute 🔥

i like diplomacy, politics, governance, outwitting type of anime…this is what i love about this anime…not the fight scenes

Diablo is not a reference to the games, sadly, it's a reference to the car(as pointed out later in the series, spoilers on how). The Lamborghini Diablo is what he was named after in part, also because devil and Diablo are synonymous with each other. I will not say the others that fit the theme as they are spoilers for Anime Only people.

I did say some of the parts felt like a filler in season 3. and I feel like most of that I said because stuff I already knew from watching season 2 on its release and I still remember what it was about or they add something small thing that could have been showed in other ways like seeing Vesta talk about the anti-magic discs was way less interesting that seeing Hinata and the ten saints react to it and the explanation would work better there imo and I have no issues with table episodes so much if they arent painful obvious. The one with ten great saints was interesting but Rimuru's table not so much

They should have shown a freezeframe of veldora attacking demon lord valentine teritory in the distant past when the were discussing veldora's rampage

Now there is something I didn't consider since I watch Slime dubbed, those episodes making it feel like you should just be reading the LN.

I'm loving this season

Unfortunately, the anime has to cover 6 volumes with very little action and tons of politics and economics and people just talking. This season and if there's a fourth season will be mostly talking. And this anime series doesn't really have the greatest animation or budget in the first place. Unfortunately, I honestly think this series just doesn't work great as an anime. At least not for the middle section of the story. The last third of the story I don't think they will ever even adapt. . . . . . . . It's multiple volumes of constant action and massive battles. They would really have to Amp up the budget for the final third of the story

I don't really think the pacing is bad I've been reading the Manga and it's keeping everything pretty much in there. Unless you're talking about including extra maybe untold stuff.

Yes the world building in the recent series sucks, not like season 1, i hate the talks but i still like the series

I think this season will now solely depend on the dungeon and festival and how they do , if they do it right season 4 is gonna be even hyped, if they do more still shot animation, I think slimes popularity is going down, what do you say?

The pacing is, for me at least, generally good. That said, I am annoyed with them using the same cliff hanger (just advancing the story by a minute or two) two weeks in a row. When watching it after the fact it's not as frustrating, but when watched on a week to week basis .. it sours an otherwise enjoyable experience.
