Week 9 Package Update, We're back with another update on our package bees, which, as many new beekeepers know, is one of the toughest ways to start. These packages are sold to beginners by the local bee club, OCBA. Initially, we reached out to the club's president to request a donation of one of these packages for our OC Beekeeping weekly video series. All in hopes of helping all of you new beekeepers with package bees. Unfortunately, the president wasn't very accommodating and gave us a firm NO.
Luckily, a generous and longstanding member of the club stepped in and donated a package so we could continue to help new beekeepers succeed.
