I'm English and saw Peter Kay's The Tour that doesn't Tour Tour at Manchester MEN arena, over 10 years ago now when I was 14. I remember crying my eyes out, still laughing uncontrollably on the train home! Was so hilarious and just good fun humour! He'd always do something extra for the Manchester and Bolton shows too, since that's where he's from

When I was 9 years old, I visited our local dentist. He took out six of my teeth in one go! My mum had to take me back to the surgery after hours, because my mouth wouldn't stop bleeding. He told mum that in future, I would have to have a tablet before treatment. She found out later it was a Valium! You won't be suprised to find out that this dentist was later struck off the register for sniffing the gas!

I had a root canal that wasn't done very well. Turned into an abscess a few years later. Whole side of my face expanded like a balloon. Had tooth removed by different dentist. The injection into the inflamed area was the most painful experience I've ever had in my entire life!

Yep I’ve had a tooth abscess where half my face blew up like a balloon. My eye closed up. Was a bit scary. The pain in my mouth didn’t worry me so much as the pain in the pocket.

i've had a few abscessed teeth, but what's even worse, is when you have one taken out and the hole doesn't fill up with blood. it's called 'dry root'. it's like the worst pain, of the worst abscess, and it lasts 8 days. i've had it 3 times. always in the bottom gum. anyway, happy new year, guys. have a great year, and may all your trips to the dentist be painless

You are so lucky, the youngsters of today - worrying about needles at the dentists. I'm 74 now and the dentists (must admit they were military) knew nothing about needles or its soothing effects. They always said "don't worry - it will only take a minute" - bloody hell. No electric drill, but one that was similar to my Granny's sewing machine (worked by the foot). It ground and ground as I hung on for dear life to the arms of the chair. After the end of the torture session and once the dentist started to fill the tooth with heavy metal, I thought I may survive. Once I had escaped the chair and the dentist, I was out of the room and looking at a long line of soldiers (I was the young daughter of a military), sweating heavily, half in tears, the other half ready to rush off and escape the torture chamber. Being a horrible, little beast, I gave them my best smile and yelled, don't worry, it doesn't hurt !!!!!

Root canals have to be worst agony ever! Had one that went wrong, had it on a Saturday by time anaesthetic had worn off, realised I was still in agony!! Everywhere was shut till Monday!! Swear I nearly topped myself!!!

Tooth ache is one of the worse pains ever, I’ve got to wait 2 months to get my tooth took out and that’s going private 😂 and omg when I have an x-ray and everyone left I was like what’s going on I didn’t realise if you’re exposed to it that much it can give you cancer.

What gets me with injections at the dentist is the size of the syringe. You can go into hospital and they can inject you to put you out for a procedure with a syringe the size of your thumb. You go into a dentist for a small filling and the dentist pulls out a syringe that looks like it holds a gallon of anaesthetic!

Try needles in your eye. I've had 2 cataracts surgeries. No pain but unpleasant because they start with numbing eye drops and then put a numbing needle in the red triangle part of your eye next to the nose. They only then offer you the lowest level of sedation and I almost threw my arm at them YES!!! 😂😂😂 The actual cataracts operation isn't that bad and you walk out after about 20 minutes but that injection in your eye is not fun. I had both surgeries in 8 days. Thursday and then the next Thursday.

1 Hogmanay 31st Dec.i got an abscess 5 yr old , Taken to a half pissed Private Doctor to get lanced i took fright at the sight of the Scalpel Doctor & Ma Father & Mother chasing me around his desk . once captured i was sat in his chair giving a pain killer then got a crooked lancing from back tooth to corner of my mouth right jaw, then offending tooth janked out by Drunk Doctor ,the relief was unbelievable i didn't care i had a scar,, Doctor apologised but my Parents had forced him into it, i thought the scar was with me for life Totally gone by the time i reached 18, only feel the groove where the scalpel cut through the jaw Gum 71 now

Needle in your gum? That's nothing. When I had my cataract operation they injected anaesthetic into my eyeball. You see it coming because they've clamped your eye open. Man.

Peter speaks/jokes about a lot of things which most people can relate too in this country..but when he makes comments like terry nutkins or people carrier and things which are local /uk specific not everyone would get it other than that he is a 5* comic.
