Lol, I can’t help it sometimes but I always think it’s better to hear things over and over, similar to a fav song that we know all the lyrics and melodies to. 👍😎

Hooray!!!! Trees I am finally happy with. Okay, to be honest I was almost happy with the first one but the other two, YES!!! VICTORY is mine!!!! Best POINTER: Do the pre-mixing of your palette having that ready on the mark is easy. Also, if a bit more color needs to be added, it's easy to do. Thanks for the pointers, oh and for making it fun too.

Definitely a different & new approach for me to Trees. I try to keep pace with you & that has helped SO much in keeping it all loose & not over thought or over done. (*I do have to watch entire video first so I can know the colors & pre-mix them. Then I start video over again so I can keep up. Have yet to "master" Mixing - you make it look so easy ...) Thank you for these great Tutorials.

Hi Patty, just use the first tree painting as a guide,... make the tree a bit darker with adding French ultra marine blue and a touch of burnt sienna to the sap green. For the foreground use yellow ochre for that dried golden field look instead of the bright green, and then use titanium white with a tiny bit of water to add speckles of white paint for snow using the spattering technique. Check out my video on splashing and spattering on KZfaq! :0) Happy painting and the Christmas season be yours! Let me know if this helps ok?

@@cpetri766 Actually, I started out in Acrylics (I still paint in Acrylic from time to time), so there's still lots to learn. I just find water colors easier to use in some ways, but still they can be hard too sometimes. I like the look of light and transparency of them and the flow of water and color. However, maybe only 1 out of 10 of my paintings is good enough to show others. I have gotten better with The help of Instructors like yourself and practice. .LOL

Another video I find myself coming back to, Chris. Thank you! At 30:29 - 30:30, what are we missing? Just a gentle wash grey in the sky and a slight blend of some of the trees and a little bit of green and splatter on the foreground?
