Thanks everyone. Just a quick comment re. the paper. I normally stretch it, but didn't have time in order to get this done and so just taped it to the board, dry. The tapes lifted during the filming as I was using a hairdryer quite aggressively to speed up the drying times........the tapes don't like that!

You have immense art talent and teaching talent. You make me feel like "Maybe I can do that too." You take time to cover the details that other painters may think is unnecessary to comment on. I enjoyed this video, I like how natural you manage to make the trees look. I often find when I use a rigger for the finer branches and twigs that I inadvertently thicken them in the wrong places. I read that your book is in the final stages; I look forward to seeing it…

Hello. I'm watching from the southwestern portion of the United States. I was mesmerized watching you paint this scene. It makes me want to try, but I noticed your rigger brush is a bit stiffer than the two I have. It seems to me that Daler Rowney must be a British brand because you are not the first artist I've noticed using those products. I will have to order them soon. Anyhow, I'm so happy that I can watch and learn from such a talented artist as yourself. Blessings...
