Paisley was one of the main reasons the troubles lasted so long

If there was one person more responsible than anyone else for the recent troubles it was him. Listen to the madness in this series of videos. Pure nutcase stuff.

Why didn't the British and European government condemn paisley of crimes against humanity???????? Somebody please answer this question

Because his involvement was essential to the peace process. Only him going to government with Martin McGuiness could ensure the post Good Friday system could work.

Ian Paisley, if only he was as kind as as good a man as Father Alec Reid. I thought priests were meant to have compassion for all regardless. Sadly he hated us Eire and Catholics plus Quakers. He did though appear to be a good husband and father.

At least McGuiness was fighting for a united Ireland Paisley wasn't! And Paisley had absolutely no choice but to accept the terms of the Irish Peace Accord!!

A man of division. A militant. Peace could have been achieved earlier if he had seen reason.

Never stood a chance? It existed for over 300 years and still exists. And if it decides to cease to exist it will only do so with the majority consent of its inhabitants. Get over it.

@gustavmarie Well firstly you're wrong. The Colony has just passed its 100th Birthday as an Entity, and before that the whole island was under Colonisation of some description over the Centuries, but particularly since 1801 Act of Union up to 1921. Every single Generation since had some sort of Irish Rebellion since. So "Existed" just about sums it up, but never United under Britain EVER.

Isn’t the older guy being judgmental by calling conservatism judgmental? At his age, at the time of this program, he should have been past all the ridiculous nostalgia for his rebellious teenage years. As a Catholic I’ve no fondness for Protestant theology but some of these people needed to grow up. Let’s look at the end result of liberalism. It’s taken Western civilization over the cliff.

As a Catholic, I certainly have no sympathy with Protestantism but some of these people in the program, who are attacking him because he believed in his faith, talk like children. These people are babies. Green hair in your, I’m guessing, mid fifties? You want to be taken seriously at that age with green hair?
