There shouldn’t be any approval of any religions by government. That kind of connection between political and religious spheres is on of the many problems that makes Islam incompatible with western culture focusing on individual sovereignty. That is unless we’re only including the values of our version of the tribalistic near identical religions of the west. Maybe it would be great if we all just chilled and tried to get along with people. Isn't it strange how so many people manage to misunderstand Islam. Everyone from isis to the western atheists misunderstand Islam in exactly the same way. Never mind all the violent verses in the Quran, never mind all the horrible and downright sadistic violence that Muhammad engaged according to the most "sahih" hadiths, never mind the calls for violence in books written by Islamic scholars, never mind the curriculum at al-Azhar University. I'm a human, and I love studying how ideas stimulate groups, the individual. The deeper fundamental mechanics of ideologies in this case, how they impose a worldview. These podcasts are nessecary to open the eyes to the fundamental nature of the religion of peace. Especially if that worldview divides humanity in those that believe and those who do not, the good and the evil.
