A lot of people think that panic attacks and anxiety attacks are the same thing. They’re different conditions though.
Panic attacks come on suddenly and involve intense and often overwhelming fear. They’re accompanied by frightening physical symptoms, such as a racing heartbeat, shortness of breath, or nausea.
The latest edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) recognizes panic attacks, and categorizes them as unexpected or expected.
Unexpected panic attacks occur without an obvious cause. Expected panic attacks are cued by external stressors, such as phobias. Panic attacks can happen to anyone, but having more than one may be a sign of panic disorder.
Anxiety attacks aren’t recognized in the DSM-5. The DSM-5 does, however, define anxiety as a feature of a number of common psychiatric disorders. I have made a video on types of anxiety disorder, link is in the description.
Symptoms of anxiety include worry, distress, and fear. Anxiety is usually related to the anticipation of a stressful situation, experience, or event. It may come on gradually.
Panic and anxiety attacks may feel similar, and they share a lot of emotional and physical symptoms. Sometimes they occur together. Eg- if a person has social anxiety, then he is someone who would avoid a social situations like parties. But if he is exposed to such a situation he might experience a panic attack.
Sandeepa Kaur is a licensed clinical psychologist. She completed her graduation in Psychology from LSR Delhi, Masters in Clinical psychology from TISS Mumbai, and M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from NIMHANS( National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences), Bangalore.
She is a practicing Clinical Psychologist and provides in-person/online therapy/counseling sessions. Her area of expertise includes behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, couple counseling.

It started with first covid19 vaccines I got. Same symptoms with 2nd dose. And after a year it happened by its own. Consulted a doctor but not in much relief.

2018 main 3rd step main pauchgaye thi main depression ke mdcn 3 Sal leke choddiya kuch din asa lagta hain ke thik hogaye phir se same chiz start hoti hain zinda las ke tarah family ke liye jirahe hun ye sochke ke unka kya hoga 3rd step main pauchne tak mujhe pata nahe tha ke kya horaha hain mere sath. Log bolte hain thik hojate hain but mene sabkuch try kiya Or mujhe pata hain ye din pe din khaya jata hain andar se kabhi thik nahe hote 😢

Hello Kareem. This sounds like social anxiety. Only supplements may not be able to help. You might benefit more from counseling/therapy. In therapy, you will learn different techniques to deal with it.

My aunt have same issues. At the death of my grand mother She has shortness of breath and was crying for no reason and feels paralyzed We lied down her on the floor she was not able to talk and reply us ..Her Heartbeat high,shaky body and Shortness of breath .....It was was very high...and she felt to be dying at the last moment ...she Grab our hands like someone do while dying... But after some time she was totally fine .I was not able to guess it first what wrong with her but soon i realized it was a panic attack that lasted for some time approx 2 to 3 hours..

I have lost count how many times I have had that ...since my childhood ...and I didn't even know what I was going through ...my condition is so worse I can't even explain ...I dropped out of college so just because I don't have to go their ... am a good student but whenever I enter the exam hall I don't know what happens but I get anxiety attacks ...but still I give exam and manage to score good ...but after COVID my anxiety is getting worse...i fear that people will judge me ...😔

I know u r feeling sis because iam also going through this for many years.... I can't convey my feelings to anyone... So much frustration... Can't convey my point of view..... I believe myself as a strong woman bt whenever I have raised my voice I can't speak properly. I know i am the right one bt can't convey things properly. It started from my clg i was the one who was unable to score marks regards studied well, I hardworked very much. Started studied by waking up at midnight... Bt i didn't get the results.... All this broke my confidence... I'm still working on my papers. I don't know How many will understand this.... All i have is broken heart💔 and confidence....

Mam, I had chest pain last 6 month, 2 bar ecg karvaya & some times I feeled Shortness of breathe, all my reports are normal, Dr. Said me you have muscular pain and said you should go with yoga, meditation and pranayam

Hello Ma'am, I get very anxiety and fear on unecessary thoughts and overthinking. My heartbeat rises, i get pain in left hand, left leg, chest, backpain and breathing problem too.. i get too much fear that am getting heartattack and i will die. Did my ECG and ECHO and several tests. All reports are normal and am physically fit. Doctor said to do exercise. Am 34 years old, am facing this since 5 months. Trying alot to comeout of this situation.When i work, i will b fine but when i come home, i feel same. plz take me out of this difficult situation. Thank you

Bhaiya aapko panick attack or Anxiety hai. Aap Deep Breathing kara karo. Or Atleat 40 minutes brisk walk kara karo. Or jayda sochne se bacho.

Hello varinder. Pehle aap general physician ko consult kijiye. Koi physical health related problem bhi ho sakta hai. Agar nahi hai to phir khud se puchiye ‘kya main kisi cheeze se pareshan hoon? Kya main kisi baat ko lekar chintit hoon?’ Anxiety ya stress ki wajah se bhi aisa ho sakta hai

এতোই কস্টে আছি দুই বছর ধরে যা কাউকে বলে বুঝানো সম্ভবনা,দয়া করে কেউ একটু সাহায্য করুন আমায়,, নিচে লেখা গুলো পরুন, দুই বছর আগে,,একজন একটু গাজা খাওয়াইছিলো খাওয়ার পর ধ্যানে অটোমিটিক ভয় শুরু হয়া যায় বুক ধড়ফড় করা শুরু হয়,মনে হচ্ছেলো মরেই যাবো, তার পর থেকে বুক ধড়ফড় ভয় আর ভয়, হাত পা কাপে মাথা ঝিম ধরে থাকে মনে হয় যে মাথায় কিছু একটা বসে আছে,চোখের নিচে লাল হয়ে থাকে কেমন যেনো একটা ভাব আসে, ভয় হয়,মানুষ দেখে মনে হয় যে কবিরাজি কেউ কিছু করছে আমায়,মাঝে মাঝে ছোগার পড়ে,সরিল সখিয়ে যাচ্ছে, অতিরক্ত ঘুম হয়,মাঝে মাঝে গশা হয় পিসাব যলে পুরে যায়,মাঝে মাঝে অনকুষ ঝুলে যায় লরা চড়া করে,তবে এমন কোনো দিন নাই এমন অবস্থা আমার হয়না,প্রতিদিন এই খারাপ সময় পার করছি,ডাক্তার দেখায়ে ওষুধ খাইছি তাও কিছুই কাজ হয়না, আমি গরিব মানুষ কেউ আমাকে সাহায্য করুন অনেক যন্তনা নিয়ে বেচে আছি,লেখে বুঝানো সম্ভব না, জীবন্ত লাশ হয়ে বেচে আছি, আমার ফোন নাম্বার 01726772243

Ye Anxiety hai. Jab aapko aisa hota hai aap Deep Breath kare aapko aaram milega. Mujhe bhi hai ye problem . Mera Treatment liya ab thik hu. Rohini me hospital hai Prashant Hospital Dr. I S Dahiya ne treatment kiya tha ab thik hai. Medicine regular khani padti hai.

@@vikky181 bhai Heart race krne laga tha esa lag raha tha puri body melt kar rhi hai and blood pressure high tha , rongte khade ho rhe they, esa lag raha tha jese bomb phat gaya ho body mei. Mene jab pehli baar bhang khai mujhe trip ke doraan lag raha tha me mar jaunga. Or haan alcohol Peena band kardo bhai me bhi pita hu par koi fayda nahi nuksaan hee hai shuru mein hee maza aata hai. Alcohol is more addictive then Cannabis. Btw mujhe bhi anxiety hoti hai

Bhai mujhe bhi aise hi hota tha. Sab kuch normal aaya. Phir ek Dr. Ne mujhe, Gas or Painc attack, aniexty ki medicine di tab thoda bahut thik hua or kabhi kabhi alcohol lene ko bola mujhe. Alcohol se serotonin level badta hai jis se ye sab symptoms chale jaate hai par limit me hona chaiye or week me 5 days 90 ml whisky lete hai. Me 2 months me puri tarah se thik ho gaya hu.

@@priyankahatheshwer5255 ये मुझे आयुर्वेदिक प्रॅक्टिवनेर्स ने बताया था ये किसी भी आयुर्वेदिक औषधी के शॉप में मिलतआ हैं मेरी नींद distrub हो गयी थी और मुझे दिन में एक या दो बार पॅनिक अटॅक आने लगे थे डिप्रेशन किवजह से.... तो मुझे 8 दिन के लिया मानसमित्र vatkam आयुर्वेदिक वटी और ब्राम्हरसायन जो कि मेडिकल शॉप में डाबर या बैज्ञानाथ जैसी किसी भी नामांकित co का मिलता hai वो दिया था 8 दिन थोडा थोडा लेने के बाद ठीक लगा था बाद में पॅनिक अटॅक नाही आये ध्यान रखे पॅनिक अटॅक अगर जयदा आहे रहे हैं तो ही मानसमित्र वटी लेणी हैं नाही तो ब्राम्हरासायन आधे कप दूध में या गुणगुणे गरम पाणी मी दो bar लेनेसेह कुछहीं दिन में आराम मिल जाता हैं

Hello Nimmitta. Panic attack is like a false alarm. Isse humari life ko koi threat nahi hai but phir bhi darr lagta hai. Yahi apko samajhna hai. Also, try some relaxation exercise. That will help.
