Mesmerized! This is such a great project. I immediately tore up a paper bag after watching Part 1 and have been collecting my nature pieces. Was thrilled that I have so many things that I can use to fill my journal. I have watched Part 1 twice now, Barbara, and will be watching this one again as well. Maybe more than twice...Love love love this project!

I have, for years, used any cheap white glue, mixed with a little water for all my decoupage. It works brilliantly and is totally mat 😊

I absolutely Love the new style 😍 I have forever want to make some rustic and very different. You have differently kicked started my inspiration.. I dye with avocado without vinegar and it gets very pink. Or Else beetroot makes pink color also. Red cabbage gets a beautiful blue color but with vinegar it gets pink also..very funny Have a nice day 🙏❤️ Tina

Oh Barbara! You crack me up!!! 🙉😄🤭 I wish we had some bits of the original audio while you are creating! LoL 😂 You always manage to fix your oopsies, though, and I'm so glad you are being easier on yourself and letting go of the need for constant perfection. I'm really enjoying this series *a lot*, and I'm now itching to make more of my own foam stamps. I just have to find the stack of foam sheets left over from making some stamps a few years ago... Hi Barbara. Oh my!😍😍😍 I am loving this little journal. You are just doing amazing. Yse a cosmetic sponge for paint through a stencil... when you rub with your finger the paint is going under the edges and ruining your stencil image. But everything you e done us so stunning. You're happy mistakes gave been amazing! Oh... and great news! The wild honey danner is back on the Ranger website! I also bought some empty dabber bottles from I think scrapbook.com so you can use any ink refilled color that you love. 💛💛💛🐝

Also you have choose colors i wouldn't choose but its so great! Makes me want to be more open minded to using different colors. Ones I wouldn't normally choose.

I mix matte modge poge with pva glue and water and turns matte...I don't know why but it works...

I wonder if cornstarch/baby powder sprinkled lightly on wet glue, would make it more matte? I know it makes homemade gesso [glue/paint/cornstarch] very matte, and soft to the touch actually.

Really loving this. Great to see how you experiment. Have you tried using watered down PVA? Kores White Glue is PVA. I think they’re an Austrian company. I’ve not tried it myself but there are lots of recipes on-line that say you can mix PVA glue and water in equal amounts as a home made equivalent of mod-podge. It would be a low cost thing to try anyway.

Do you have any idea how beneficial it is - for us - the ones that do not have your skill level & are scared senseless to attempt to pull off some of the stunts you go for? (very poor syntax - long sentence - so sorry). Excited to see you fearlessly attempt stuff - and if it appears - briefly - to fail - YOU SAVE IT! You even improve the original flawed piece.
