I actually burst into tears not only because it was TTYD, but it looked so beautiful. I was screaming “TAKE MY MONEY” at the screen 😂

I was literally talking with my friends before the Direct about what we were predicting and I made a joke and said "Definitely a Paper Mario TTYD remake for the Switch", I cannot believe we manifested that shit into reality 😂

Something similar happened to me when one night I asked myself when Nintendo will do another paper Mario game and then the very next day the first trailer for paper Mario the origami king dropped

I want to know _exactly_ when in 2024 the game is coming out so that I can purchase the "double voucher" thing for both this and Super Mario RPG at a time when the second voucher won't expire before TTYD releases. (They last 12 months after you buy them, and I want to be _absolutely sure_ TTYD isn't dropping some time at the _end_ of the year to know if I time this right.)

I went to bed the day before the direct thinking about how good it'd be to see a remake of paper mario in the direct. I can't wait for it to come out!

We have waited far too long for this. 11 years since Sticker Trash ruined the series, 16 years since Super first changed the formula (but was still a good game), and 19 years after this masterpiece was first released. It’s been a long, painful journey, but at last, we have found the light at the end of the tunnel. Just one more year to go! 😭😭

This will be the first time I've ever played this game, and I'm honestly very excited for it. I've heard lots of great things about this game, and literally every time someone mentions paper mario, someone else brings up TTYD. I will finally get to experience all the hype for it, and I am SO ready for it.

I'm so happy, this is literally one of those games that I 100% every year.

Thanks for willing this into existence. I liked Origami King but just dropped it after a couple of hours, though I felt the game was better than the last two Paper Mario games. I shed tears seeing the trailer and hearing the revamped orchestra/ big band OST

Was more excited for Mario vs. Donkey Kong & Super Mario RPG (plus my mom wants to play Princess Peach: Showtime), but I can see why the Paper Mario fans are happy. The classic Paper Mario games are some of the best RPGs ever made, for crying out loud.

I'd say make a joke about Petroglyph Games taking back the C&C license, but unfortunately that's something even physic powers can't fix...
