Күн бұрынParga Attractions. Taverna Petros (Ταβέρνα Πέτρος) was our favorite Traditional Greek Restaurant in the town of Parga in Greece. During our 3 week stay in Parga (located close to Preveza) this was the Greek Taverna we enjoyed spending most of our summer holiday evenings. The traditional Greek Food served at Taverna Petros (Ταβέρνα Πέτρος) was excellent and we were always welcomed with quick and very friendly service. This is (we think) one of the Top Restaurants in Parga or at least one of the most popular Restaurants in Parga among Greeks and the lucky tourists visiting Parga who find this little gem!
Wiki writes about the town of Parga in Greece, "Parga (Greek: Πάργα [ˈpaɾɣa]) is a town and municipality located in the northwestern part of the regional unit of Preveza in Epirus, northwestern Greece. The seat of the municipality is the village Kanallaki. Parga lies on the Ionian coast between the cities of Preveza and Igoumenitsa. It is a resort town known for its natural environment.."

There's just something about the seafoods at Greek restaurants they are better than the ones in the states, fresh and quality is higher loved the review and explore ,I can smell and taste the plate it's locked in memories of when I was in Greece .to a happy and healthy life.🙂🇬🇷🙏thanks.

Oh that looks so good. It is pure torture to sit in the freezing winter, dreaming of a nice Greek taverna. I have often done the same thing. Finding a nice family taverna and eat there every evening.

Omg I would eat everything there. It looked delicious. When I met my husband 30 odd years ago our first meal together was in a Greek restaurant in London. We love Greek food 😋😋❤️

Congratulations for the filming, Parga is a magnificent city. It has an effervescent life, like Amalfi, but also a rich tradition. Thank you for opening our appetite for it. You have good taste.

Wow Maro speaks Greek too. Is there no end to her talent. I studied Greek for a little while and it sure was not easy! The food is delicious. I particularly enjoy Cypriot food.

A really, really good Taverna - good food and excellent hospitality! The Tomahawk Steak was without doubt a hit with many guests as we saw it being serve to many guests! The Greek Salad was on our table for almost every meal we had a Petros! You must have a salad with meat too, HeHe! :-D

Been visiting since 1985 every summer and there are plenty of very fine taverns in parga my personal favourite is the three plane trees .

I love the way you enjoy your food. I would do the same as you all, eat there every night and try everything on the menu. The eggplant salad looks especially wonderful as I love eggplant. Also, the lamb that was served and the prawn platter. It would be worth it to fly to Greece to eat here.

What a video to watch at breakfast time I’m starving now . If you find a good place stick to it is so so true . I’ve always been a fan of trying different places and in the end I’ve been burnt so many times . Find the wow factor and stick to it is exactly what myself and mags do now . This looks a classy beautiful restaurant and look how busy it is and that in itself self tells you a lot about the place . Enjoy rest of Sunday but you’ve spoilt my breakfast lol cornflakes it is

HeHe, we were honestly both getting really hungry when editing this video! Our policy is also, "if something is good why not stick with it!", which is what we did and tried many of the foods on the menu! If/when we return to Parga we will be back at Petros to eat! You have to get there early or book a table otherwise there will not be space - that is how busy and how good it was! Hope you enjoyed the cornflakes! P.S. I (Maxi) am back on a Low Carb Diet - it´s time to loose the 4 kilograms+ I picked up on this holiday ;-) Have a nice evening both of you! :-D

No that called yuvetsi (barley with meat in the oven). The steefado / steefatho is made in the pot with onions and with hare or lamb meat.

im not saying it because im Greek...but guys the food here is the best you can imagine...is the most tasty u can imagine and the most healthy...and here in video u see only 5% of greek cusine..imagine some pies from village with Feta from the village from goat and spinach inside...u cant imagine wha tim talking about if u dont eat it...

I'm so excited you went to a more mainland part of Greece and you liked it. Most people know Greece only for the islands but the mainland has so much unimaginable beauty (and better food for me!). Really glad you enjoyed Parga 😊😊😊

Another great food video from Maro and Maxi! I can't decide which Taverna I like the most, this one or Barba Vaggelis. Looking at how amazing each dish looked, I would also want to go back more than once, can see why it is so popular. Parga is definitely NOT the place to go to if you are on a diet, lol.

That is so true Dimitris... in any country ;-) And if you don´t have the money... like many people who travel on a budget, then places like this Taverna are well worth a visit. It will be interesting how many customers and staff contracted COVID-19 from this Taverna last summer, unfortunately Europe is now paying the price. Of Course, the food looks delicious.. !
