We are delighted to welcome back CEO and Founder of Charconeurotech to tell us more about the CUE1 device to help Parkinson's symptoms
Charco Neurotech, the company behind CUE1, was founded by CEO Lucy Jung and named after Professor Charcot, who discovered the therapeutic effects of vibratory stimulation on Parkinson's in the 19th century. Since then, numerous studies have been conducted on the ability of stimulation to alleviate movement symptoms associated with the disease.
CUE1 combines the principles of focussed vibrotactile stimulation and cueing, both of which have been scientifically proven to improve motor performance and reduce freezing of gait in people with Parkinson's. The company's testing has demonstrated clinically significant improvements in motor symptoms, including smoother walking and movement, and better fine motor task performance.

There are several upcoming devices based on different technology. But None of them is likely to be available in next 2-3 years Don't understand why simple, non invesive devices such as the CUE1 also take years

To the host: As a person with PD, I'm very grateful for these video presentations. Please don't take this as a criticism, but with your heavy accent and rapid speech, you're very hard to understand. Can you please work on your pronunciation, and enunciation, and perhaps try to slow down your speech a little? Other than that, you're doing a great job. If it's too much considering every thing you have to deal with, I understand, and no worries.

Point taken (my wife keeps reminding me 🙂). I don’t think I can do much about the accent, but I will definitely try to speak slower!

Personally, I am able to understand Michel pretty well. But, whenever I do find someone is difficult to understand on KZfaq I turn on the closed captions and or the transcript. Look for the little "CC" icon at the bottom of the video player. I don't think this will help if you're watching live however.

I have the same problem understanding this gentleman. I do appreciate this channel that I just discovered this week- and trying to learn as much as I can. If he could speak slower it would help.

@@mauijeff24 Thanks. I do use the closed captions, but would like to be able to do other things (cooking, etc.) and be able to just listen.

You could experiment with altering the video playback speed. You'll find it under Settings (cog icon at bottom-right of video).
