Parliament/Funkadelic etc. was sort of the family of bands with, simply stated, Parliament being the more 'serious' stuff, and Funkadelic, the groove. I love how George Clinton played on the white man's paranoia in 'Chocolate City', and, of course, the emergence of 'Dr. Funkenstein' on the second album. Loving the Friday favorites.

Dear Hanier Family, you may have noticed my suggestion of 'Lakeside Park (live)' [channel: GordonYYZ] by Rush for your country's Victoria Day; I just noticed this will be celebrated already on the 22nd of this month! Playing that song only really makes sense on the 24th, though. Which is Queen Victoria's actual birthday, too 😉👍
