Here's making of videos of my Aerith Gainsborough fan art sculpture. In this process I focused myself on the art of sculpting. I hope you guys can learn something trough this videos. I would say that this is definitely not one and only workflow for sculpting characters, but it's effective for learning volume, forms and details.
The video is consist of many different sculpting session put together into one. Any skipped or unrecorded footage is due to technical error.
Any reference content seen in the video I do not own them. All founded in Google and it's all for references and educational purposes only.

nice attention to detail. do you actually have a leather jacket in person that you referenced for this or was it all based on pictures/experience?

If the 5th part is similar in time frame each video should be 15x speed so 5 parts = 16:30:00 x5 = 81hours 51 mins estimation (example is from a previous comment I saw were record speed was mentioned)

Wonderful! Please, a question, how can you manage to make such sculpture without lagging? I tried (I have a i7 32 gb and 2060 super) and I have troubles with 10 m tris. Thank you!

You can try remeshing your mesh.

where is better to model? ZBrush or Blender

To model blender to sculpt zbrush however as of 2.8 release blender sculpting is viable and one doesn't need a tablet a mouse can work with some effort

I noticed you didn't merge the head with the body. Was this not feasible without losing detail? Is it better to block out the entire body before working on fine details?
