In this video I refit the gearbox back onto the engine and then refit the engine. I also use some silicone sealant to attempt to mend the engine bushes.

If you click "SHOW MORE" in the description above your be able to see Links to the Tools 🔧🔨🔧 I use. Also Clickable Chapters📋 📙 throughout the video and other Links 🎬 that may be of interest. I've had a few viewers request where they can buy the tools they see in some of my videos but it's not very clear that the "SHOW MORE" tab has a lot of information in that may be of interest. Admittedly the amazon links are associated with me and I would earn a small commission which helps towards keeping the channel funded.

Talking about using grease on fasteners reminded me of a job we did in Baglan Bay near Swansea. We were working on a valve with 90 mm A/f nuts on the bonnet. The torque setting was 6500 fl/lb without anti seize and nearly 7000 ft/lb using the lubricant. I had never heard of a difference in torque settings before that job.

That's a good point you make. I'm still never sure if torque figures on a car are without any lubrication or with some. I'm presuming at the factory they would be lightly oiled to prevent rusting in storage. I think too much grease can make a huge difference and cause overtightening. Thank you for the comment Neil.

@@CoatsandGaiters Different subject, but since we last spoke on the ebike subject, Ive finished another, so now i have a front drive and a rear drive pair of bikes- with the same frames. Both Yose Power kits.

@@patrickjmorgan Is that front and rear drive on a single bike? that would be quite interesting Patrick power and speed wise. Have you bypassed the speed limit on any as I see they can go pretty fast unrestricted.

@@CoatsandGaiters No, one bike from 250w and another rear 350w. Both the same ali-frames, as I bought them as a pair for myself and my middle son about 13 years ago. Hes moved on to beter things, so it was gifted back to me- and i still had my one. Ive not tried to derestrict these as I still have a 500w one which is fast enough for me. i need some exercise, so Im happy with 10 miles a day of assisted.

@@patrickjmorgan My friend is looking into electric bikes now since I mentioned them. I managed my longest run in quite a while of 15 miles and when you get older you know that extra assistance could make the ride pleasant all the way rather. Started to get pretty tired after 10 miles and though a bit of assistance would be really nice, rather than knowing I had 5 miles to go in some pain and tingling in my feet.
