this is gorgeous! I wish there was a way to do so with built in cinema 4d particles. If you have tutorial recommenations for that for beginners, that'd be hugely appreciated!

There probably is a way to do it with C4D Particles (with fields) but much easier in XParticles. We've got plenty of videos for beginners, and a few tutes covering Thinking Particles

@@CGShortcuts thank you!! i'll check those out. maybe someday I can purchase x-particles! As a UI designer, I dont often do 3D for work - but its a huge passion of mine for fun!

Love your stuff. But where do I start to learn the basics of C4d? Do you have an intro video for basics? Also when I open your website it says it is not safe for chrome? Thanks!!

Cheers Ryan, we usually recommend this course for beginners, it covers a lot of the basics and is a fun little project: cgshortcuts.com/product/cinema-4d-looping-3d-animation-for-instagram-and-gif Weird that chrome gives you that message though, first time I've heard of that happening!

@@ryanlindner8665 You should be fine, everything we cover is still there in the later versions (although some menus have moved around) just ask in the class chat if you need any help. If its not for you you can always just get a refund too;) All the best with your c4d Ryan!

I guess it depends on how complex your scene is - a good GPU will help

We've got LOADS of Octane content already including an enormous Octane course, so we just showed the XP bit to keep the tute short - you can see the Octane setup in the project file though;)
