Wow! I’m so happy to see your videos back to back!!! Thank you for another great video! I miss my mom’s pasteles. She would wake up at 5 am to start her pasteles from scratch guyando by hand. Since she fell ill, she hasn’t made them. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 ❤!!

I remember my grandma making these when I use to visit her in PR. Her and sister and some friends would assemble them in like an assembly line. They made a whole bunch of them.

Have you ever made vegan Pasteles,? I make a vegan version of pasteles filled with "RATATOUILLE" instead of meat, & they are really good. Many different recipes online for ratatouille. I make and use an Italian version (also called Ciambotta) made using a variety of peppers, (yellow, green and red peppers), besides the other vegetables called for in a ratatouille recipe, I use Pitted green and Kalamata olives, but no cheese or potatoes.
