Today we cover Chapter 6 - Patchwork Gelli Printing Technique.The beautiful thing about this printmaking technique is that you can use any size plate. I pulled out two of my smaller gel plates to demonstrate how easy it is to do with the sizes you all rarely see me using. This gelli printing technique is perfect even for printing in your art journals when you want to add last minute embellishments.

I just got my book yesterday. Cant wait to get into it. I've been working with a small 5.5x5.5 journal with wc paper (what I already had in my stash), and is first time I'm using a journal. One think I like with is is that I can put the small plate on it then close it to squish the plate on it for a minute. really gives it a good contact. Cant do that with the large plate, not easy for that

Robyn, I have sheets of very rough watercolour paper that I’d like to use to make a journal like yours but it seems to crack when I fold it. How do you keep yours from tearing when you fold it?

Thank you I found a large selection at Jackson’s art supply, still wondering if those great lids come on the 250ml bottles? It’s hard to find a pic of the bottle when ordering.. I liked how you can etch and draw with out having to change the paint to different container 🤷‍♀️
