42 years old here, I started changing everything at 38 and I finally feel like I’m happy with where I am now. It’s not easy to unlearn and relearn/reimagine a different path forward but cheers to you on the journeys . @@ksweet87 remember that There’s no race happening.-one step at a time. One foot in front of the other . Start with being very honest with yourself about where you are . Give yourself grace and respect for making it this far but acknowledge that you want more - and that is OK. It’s ok to want more, different, bigger, better. But there is so much beauty in what is present now-don’t overlook the little things that bring you joy . Finally speak as kindly to yourself as you would to anyone else. We’re often so hard on ourselves in the process of changing, but that is not necessary. You’re not lost really . You’re on a journey to a new level and it’s scary sure . But so much more is ahead-be encouraged and excited about the positive possibilities. 💜

Transitioning away from fast fashion is HUGE baby. Maybe you can do the opposite. Find your local ethical dressmaker, spend time choosing your favourite piece, get measured and fit, etc. show us how to choose a lifetime wardrobe one little piece at a time! Love you Pat, our timelines have been so similar and you’re one of the few creators I’ve stuck with thru all the years.

This literally speaks to me in so many ways. I am currently trying to change my appearance physically through nutrition and exercise. I totally relate to loving the after workout muscle soreness. I’m sore but I always have so much energy afterwards.

Appreciate you keeping your family life private and you should continue to do that. It would be refreshing to just see regular content or more sit down chats like this. Go for it‼‼🙌🏿, only regret I have is not doing it sooner.. I never noticed how bad my fupa looked in clothes until I had it removed.. My confidence is out if this world..I will always remember my 1st day out post op, swelling gone, no faja.. I put on a regular bodycon maxi dress, and I literally cried tears of joy.. just to see myself in something so form fitting, no shapewear, without lumps, folds, and ripples.. I know it sounds vain.. but to actually feel comfortable, and confident in your clothes after not feeling good about your appearance for years.. makes everything worth it 🎉🎉❤❤

@@la.femme11i always cleanse serum and moisturize eye cream twice daily. i exfoliate 3 Times weekly. I use the inkey list or the ordinary. I don't believe you need to buy expensive products. Once you keep doing your skincare twice daily . Hope that helps ❤

Traveling is the best way to broaden your mind and enrich your life rather broke or boujee! I have done it both ways and no lie the broke way was lots of fun too but the boujee sheets are addictive! Portugal, Hungary, Iceland, Wales, Croatia are all great places to visit. Change is great, if you do not evolve you die. We all started with the quick and the cheap but eventually we realize quality over quantity, I have a couple of things on my buy list but my closet is full of classic things. I stay away from trends unless I feel they will become classics, that would be good to hear, how your wardrobe has evolved. What is in your permanent collection?

I’ve had a really hard couple of months so I am late watching everyone, my mother passed away & my daughter and her wife got married and moved across the country and it’s been hard. I do want to say that I am so glad that you and your husband are still together because I think you have such a special love for one another, that was the one thing I feared watching this video. I can totally relate to this and have been following you since you had your first bub. I’ve had a similar path to you with life, kids, business but kind of got to a point where I felt like it was a bit unfulfilling. I’m grateful and blessed but unhappy. Having two kids back to back was like the catalyst for me to really question my purpose and goals etc. and therapy has also helped me too! I think there is so much more to be said about finance and fashion and the ways it affects the woman consumer and also everyone in general. You can talk about finance and cost of fast fashion, thrifting, shopping vintage, the industry of clothing donations, how to seek clothing online; Shopify vs EBay, mlms, bitcoin, scams, how to make money from social media, negotiating brand deals, calculating your worth, salary negotiating, general financial terms, how much is a purse really worth and what fashion items are worth investment and which ones should be inexpensive and disposable.

It's great to hear your honesty about your life and the changes. I'd love to see in your future content, holiday inspo, and if you do this within budget or if its gifted. Also from a fashion standpoint, it would be nice to see you restyle/re-wear your existing clothing, with only adding a few new pieces. As for Mike and your family, you're right to keep it private. Marriage takes a whole lot of work and committment to stay in the game and keep with the course. Also every marriage has specific deal-breakers, not all are the same. Ultimately it between the two of you. From a concious level, id like to see you tap into your own style as, i feel its varied and changing. You never know who you're feeling on any given day. In your early days, i was lonely/missing something and stumbled across you and Mike, i enjoyed your honesty and the fun also teaching you provided. I also recognise your quirky nature, i have that too. I wish you well in all your endeavours xx

I love the idea of seeing travels, obviously we don't need to see your every second but I'd like to know where is nice to visit, things you do while you're away and saw that was worthwhile. Tips etc

I love that u have been traveling more, as a mom u feel like ur stuck to ur home and if u want to travel u have to haul the whole family with u to do it. I think its amazing what ur doing and I would love to see more travel vlogs and outfits.
