There was a study done where women pretended to be hairdressers and suggest the length and hairstyle for a series of women. What they found was that when a women found another women equally or better looking than themselves, these women would recommend short hairstyles for them to kind of ‘eliminate the competition’. If you hairstylist doesn’t hate you then she’s jealous of you.
