Penguin Watercolour Tutorial

Full watercolour tutorial. This penguin is a joy to paint and I will show you every step in this full watercolour tutorial. It is suitable for beginners as well as advanced and I have purposely kept my palette to a minimum so that you can join in if you have fewer paints. This painting should not take you too long so you will get fast results to help grow your confidence as a watercolour painter. I have used both wet in wet and wet in dry painting methods.
These are the tools I used:
Paper: Daler Rowney mixed media
Brushes: Rosemary & Co Spotters size 4 and 2 plus Flat brush size 2 for lifting out
Colours: Paynes Grey, Lamp Black, Indigo, Transparent Orange, Indian Yellow and Raw Umber or anyt colours that you feel 'work'.

You make it look so easy! Took a bit... some spots are a little muddy. He turned out better than I was anticipating in the beginning. I am going to try the coffee cup right away! Love your tutorials.
