Never owned anything larger than an ATD50 but I believe the reel body would be gold anodized aluminum. Stainless is generally used for gears and smaller parts.

Yeah Yeah! That is an epic Penn! Did you get a Bluefin yet? I gota head up that way and hang a heavy. I fish inshore mostly now. Miss tuna fishing. Looking into charters. All the best Sir.

Nice pole if I use a rod like that on my robalo 160 in the rod holder with no backing plate on the rod holders but there the good stainless holders do you thing the side of my boat would break if I had a big shark

95 pound of drag ? are the drag parts still available ? i am thinking about buying a used one.

That information is not correct for the model shown. The current 2021 model [130VIS] does indeed have 100 pounds of drag, but the reel shown in the video is several generations old [approx 25-30 years old]. It also is not "brass plated" [it is anodized aluminum], and does not have a "1 to 6 ratio" [probably 2.2-1/1.2-1]. .

@@tunanorth he might have mixed up the newer models with the oldies specs not to take credits away but these things are tanks!
