People lie about many different reasons. Deception isn't always the reason, self protection is often a frequent reason behind it as well.

I spent 3 years of higher education writing essays essentially lying my ass off that I understood what I was talking about ,I passed. I considered my self now well versed in the art of lying.

And yet she steals her husband's (Leonard's) prized items and hid them from him... change the was to is.

To answer all the questions, its because its a fake show written that way for fake characters like Sheldon, Penny etc. Im seeing people getting pressed about imaginary people.🤣🤣

Discussing the media you consume is half the fun of it. Or do you just stare at the TV blankly and never talk about your favorite shoes and movies with your friends or online ever?

It’s not necessary nor is it helpful because you start seeing it through your own interpretation rather than what the show runner and the writing staff created. You head in the wrong direction and lose what the characters are and what the real story is creating something very different. Delving into their childhoods isn’t what the show is about nor does it help you to enjoy it more! Because you aren’t the writers and the story isn’t yours to change or tweak!

@@mircat28 So you are against different interpretations? You can analize Shakespeare's work in so many ways, yet no one can say one is the wrong one with absolute certainty. The viewers don't Change or Tweak the story- they see it through their own eyes and their opinios are just as valid since the writers can overlook many things in a movie/show. Nothing wrong with thinking about and analizing things- it keeps the mind sharp at the very least! The story, once told, belongs to everyone that's seen it.
