It’s almost painful to listen to this plaintiff. He seems so passive and helpless, letting tickets and penalties pile up until the inevitability happens, then the impound storage fees, continually claiming he was “working on” doing something about it. Then sues for damages to the car he’s never going to drive again. I hope on one of his visitations to see his car, he got the chance to kiss it goodbye.

How can someone ignore that issue so long? Funny how he kept "visiting" his car. Haha. He's going to owe so much if (when) it goes to auction.

This all could have been avoided and simply resolved if the Weirdo Plaintiff had called the Court, spoke to the municipal Court administrator, and requested a new Court date for his case to be heard. Had he explained that the amount needed to release car is currently set at 2,500 plus tow fees, they would have rescheduled a new Court date, reset his fines into a payment plan, gave him a release order, and then he would have only owed 130$ plus a couple days storage fees. Ignoring the problem ultimately makes it much worse

Nassau County is the worst to drive in, I don't even like driving in it. They have red light cameras set up and the traffic light set up to change from green to red in under 2 seconds so you have to treat the yellow light as the red light to avoid a ticket in the mail. I honestly believe the county never booted his car and just requested them to tow it after the 3rd ticket. I've been booted before and they put the big paper sticker on the driver's window, its something no one can miss. Also the tow company usually take pictures before they tow the car to prove no damages. Plaintiff seems like he's not all there though, and I don't understand how can he own a luxury vehicle such an a Infiniti and not have $300 to pay parking tickets.

I love her! She's smart, funny and she make sure justice is served. Haven't came across one case where I disagreed with her ruling.

Nassau County is one of the biggest rackets in America when it comes to ticketing. Just disputing a ticket in court often results in double the fine. The reason they do it is to discourage people from contesting tickets. Even lawyers will tell you to just pay the fine. Something really needs to be done about these shysters.

Let this be a lesson...the county or jurisdiction you live in will ALWAYS find you. Just pay your debts.

There's no way the tow yard did all that damage to that POS car. I have no doubt the plantiff didn't pay his tickets, and didn't take care of that car at all, ever. The tow driver rolled it into the lot because that rear bumper is already trashed. Doesn't excuse hitting the car behind it though!

The plaintiff is definitely a bit slow, but I believe him when he says the car was never booted. The defendant on the other hand just made things up as he sought fit, they definitely damaged the car and he knows it, but was vague and lied about it, you can't trust any of these tow companies, they are legalised scammers.
