The plaintiff says she hired the defendant to fix her air conditioner, and he told her she needed a new one because the motor was blown. She paid him, then he removed the motor and never came back to finish the job. She’s suing him for all the money she paid him and more. The defendant says he brought the new motor to the plaintiff and asked for a check to install it, but she didn’t want to pay him right away. He said the cops were called after she accused him of theft. He’s countersuing for all he’s out.

I think the plaintiff is a liar and a control freak. The husband didn’t come because he knows how his wife is, and he didn’t want to be cross examined by the judge. I don’t believe a word she said. Great judgement 👍

All he had to do is go to the police and ask for an escort to go back and get the tools. He said he initially forgot them, too. And he never claimed he bought blowers. Just the motor. The blowers were to be reused from the original a/c.

Plaintiff , bringing a ridiculous lawsuit , proves she’s a liar . The guy didn’t replace the motor, so suing for $5000 ? Then she lied and said he didn’t leave behind the old parts . He had a signed paper he left them . Lying for the $250 too . If he said to pay for it all up front, and she said send me a bill after , why would she give $250 ? She talking a lot made her think she was entitled .

I 💯 percent believe the defendant. The plaintiff was probably being nosy, getting in the way, and the guy probably had enough with her craziness and said the heck with it. The husband not showing up is very telling. He couldn’t even be bothered to send his wife in with a written statement. The plaintiff is a control freak and as soon as she started talking a mile a minute, I knew she was hiding something.

I feel like the defendant is a genuine man. The plaintiff seems like she just isn’t believable to me. Her story is kind of all over the place not really making sense and her husband not wanting to testify speaks volumes. I feel bad for the defendant for her dragging him into court especially with her already being shady about when she was going to pay him to start with. She should’ve ordered the plaintiff to return his tools at least!

The judge was not right on this one. She was attacking the defenant the whole time. This case should have been on Judy, she would have seen the womans lies from the start. That woman is lying . I used to fix TV's and women continually refused to pay or said they would pay later and never did. So I never went to a house where the woman was in charge . I would deal with the husband only unless she was the boss !
