The plaintiff and his ex-girlfriend lived together while they were dating. After the breakup, the plaintiff moved out. When the plaintiff went to retrieve his belongings, he claims the defendant threw them out, so the plaintiff is suing. The defendant says after she caught the plaintiff cheating, she told him he had five minutes to get his junk out of their house or else she was throwing the stuff away.

I actually am on her side. She completely told the truth. That was a very high verdict. I think the judge should have given him maybe $200 and that's it.

Because you seem to think that him talking to or seeing another person outside the relationship is some type of violence against you. Sorry but you don’t own anybody hun. It’s only called cheating because your rules say youre the only body he can ever think about for the rest of his life… maybe he doesn’t agree. If your ego is too bruised then your option is to end the relationship and figure out why somebody doesn’t want you and only you. Still no right to harm someone or vandalize their property.

You can't throw someone's stuff away that fast no matter what they did. You have to give them a reasonable amount of time to retrieve their stuff. You throw it away, you pay for it. I'd stay away from her if that's how she handles this type of situation.
