INGREDIENTS:
• vegetable oil
• butter
• eggs
• salt and ground pepper
NOTES:
1.) PREHEATING YOUR PAN - If your skillet is properly heated, half of your job is already done! Heat your skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes first then increase to medium-high heat until it's nearly at the smoking point. Once you see a hint of smoke, add about a tablespoon of vegetable oil and swirl it around. Introduce a little knob of butter, distribute it evenly, and wait until it ceases to sizzle before cracking an egg over it 😊
2.) EGG/S - I use room temperature eggs. In fact, all our eggs are not refrigerated and are kept on our kitchen counter
3.) NOT WASHING MY SKILLET AFTER - This might raise eyebrows for some, but yes, I don't wash my skillet if I've only used it for frying eggs. Instead, I simply wipe off the excess fat with kitchen paper immediately after cooking while the skillet is still hot!😊
