NotSoMagic Animations pads make me feel worse on my period and tampons make me feel like im not on my period. but also a tip when you first use a tampon if you can feel it then you put it in wrong. if you are wondering it cant get stuck or lost. lots of girls think it can but its impossible. good luck

You poor child, usually people don’t get heavy periods until they’ve had it a few times. I immediately put in a tampon when I got mine for the first time. It’s a bit uncomfortable the first time but you definitely get used to it. I 100% recommend.

You learn about how its going to be when u get your period, and they’re like “it’s not gonna bleed, only a bit” “it’s not gonna hurt when u get ur first period” “it’s not that bad” but ehm..but ehm, I feel like a waterfall!! Joceline Toribio It may be a little uncomfortable but it shouldn't be painful. In tampon boxes they come with instructions for insertion or you can Google it. You should hold it at an angle until your fingers rest on the outside skin of your privates. Then you push the applicator and pull it out. The string should be hanging out and you shouldn't feel the tampon if it is in correctly. If it is uncomfortable or somewhat stingy it isn't in correctly and you should take it out and start with a new one again. Just pull the string slowly to remove and discard it in the trash because it ruins septic systems. It's all trial and error but eventually you will get it! Try wearing a thin pad or pantyliner with a tampon the first few times just in case it leaks. Wish you luck girlfriend!

So with my period I use Libra branded pads. But if I'm doing sport or going to school I use the tampons. I only started using tampons last month. And I don't get any craving, cramps, mood changes, or anything. Nothing really changes for me. It's just like a normal day for me except like I'm on my period. And my mum is confused why I don't get angry or anything. But I guess I'm just lucky when it comes to periods.

I started my period when I was 10/11 and it was exam week at school and I was terrified! I was so heavy and it went on for 2 weeks! Thought I was dying! I prefer tampons over pads because you can’t feel a tampon once you get used to it, and pads leak but tampons don’t if you use them properly!x

If it went for two weeks you definitely should've seen the doctor, anything less than 3 days or more than 7, you should see the doc. Xx 💕💕

I am on my 2nd period. I was wondering if it's safe to go for a bath whilst it's my time of the month. Do you need to wear a tampon or do you not. Will you leak in the bath?

Cailin Hamilton it’s safe! Don’t wear a tampon so you can clean out. You will leak a little but barely any because the water stops the bleeding. Good luck!
