Ray eat them Skittles up my man. 50 is a rough number. Scares the crap out of us, especially her, every time is happens. I have a daughter with type 1. I've told her about you before and to show that she can do anything( because she worries about it a lot), showing that a fella like you can build, hike, all kinds of great things. Nice job fellas.

Being Swedish, and therefore subject to different building codes and weather conditions, I really appreciate your talk on using these boards. For us, R-values and proper ventilation is crucial.

@@mrkonrady22 well, its primarily related to building code, since We need to consider where (geographically) we are building stuff. In the northern parts, requirements on rafters are higher since the snow load are heavier…

I bloody wish that we had even something like this in Australia. Nope, as lone as it wont blow down, burn down in a hurry and stand up under water… they are happy, but when it gets to freezing we just get cold. Oh did any one mention, does get cold ( zero Celsius and below) in Australia and because of our crap codes you feels it sooo much worse!! If its zero outside its bloody cold inside even with every heater on. Rant over!

All my life I had role models thats have let me down or visversa. But as an aprintes carpenter I look up to you guys a lot and try to use yall tricks at work. I am DIY building a cabin with a walkout basement like this one. I really appreciate you talking about the nuances of how to get the basement walls level with an uneven floor and things like that. Those sorts of tricks are likr trade knowledge that is not recorded and it’s difficult to get the skill without being on a framing crew. Keep sharing obstacles that come up and your thought process to adapt.

Great builder guys, I'm very impressed. I used to work by myself and most jobs I do was concrete walls, roofing and counters. Entry and interior doors were fitted in concrete and went typhoon comes, were always safe. I'm originally from Guam USA pacific island. All houses were concretes but I like watching your work guys 👍🏻🤙🏼🇬🇺🇺🇸👍🏻🙏🏼😇🙏🏼

Keep it up! Love watching the builds and you fellers working together just seems like you’ve nailed down a great group of guys. Sure makes a difference! When I draw up plans for folks I always tell them that these windows are just what I would put in (not knowing the location or views) I dimension to center so if they want to change the sizes its not really big deal. Obviously that closet change was the right idea. Just starting to see that Green board used up here in Atlantic Canada within the past 2-3 years.

I am so glad you swapped the bathr and closet..... I was wondering that from the start...I am an Architectural Draughtman(woman)😊 and that bugged me soooo much. Though I see on many "American" floor plans that they do that....maybe because of pipes, vents etc etc... But glad you did😊👍

Cool shit on being able to access the Advantech X-Factor early, I've been eying using it in a job redoing my subfloor in a few rooms. Recently had the opportunity (before lumber $ went nuts) to use zip panels in resheathing my roof, I'm digging the Huber products

Look at you and your fancy zip sheathing. Here in Dallas Texas we use cardboard sheathing. Nothing like cardboard and staples for true lateral force and shear strength. Haha. Just kidding. Love the video. Way to build things right. I wish you would show the costs of that sheathing. I know here it $70 a sheet without the foam layer. ☹️
