PESHAWAR is in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which was Afghanistan territory for over 1000 years. in 1893 durand line was drawn between Afghanistan and british india in an agreement between the British and their puppet emirate of Afghanistan Amir Abdur Rahman. basically gifted away KPK to British. when Pakistan was created by dividing India that durand line was taken official by Pakistan rejected by Afghanistan. since then Afghanistan want it back but Pakistan say it was agreement by Afghan ruler so legally it is theirs. the same Pakistan also claim Gilgit Baltistan, Ladakh and Kashmir as their land which was given to India by Kashmir king Maharaja Hari Singh. such is the hypocrisy of Pakistan.

Basically british manage to captured area upto durand line..and that area became part of british empire...1920 thousand of peoples killed by british army in kissa khawani bazaar for freedom uprising..

ctually Pashtun of Pakistan can claim all of Afghanistan cz Pashtun population is double in Pakistan as compared to Afghanistan but i dont want to have this discussion of me and my bcz all this earth belongs to Only one GOD(SWT) and all Muslims are brothers regardless of if you name them Pakistan, Afghanistan or anything else. By the way Kashmir was stolen from Pakistan just like two other states of india and were never given to Pakistan.
