There is currently a girl claiming that viva raw killed her dog the dog name was Hera from the food in the November recall and viva has blacklisted her from their social media pages. They had 2 recalls one in November 2023 and another recently this month! Dont feed your dog this food! Plenty customers on their pages saying their dogs experienced extreme vomiting and diarrhea

Why does raw pet food has so many recalls but raw meats we buy at grocery don't have near as much there both raw meats

There are tons of human foods recalled, far more than animals, its just not being sensationalized like the animal foods at present (keeping in mind that the "Purina scare" is not actually a recall). If you select food and beverage on the same FDA website you will see there are dozens of foods ( some for the same listeria) that were recalled just last month. Its important to always focus on facts and data and not perceptions of reality. Also there are compounded issues such as most humans do not eat a completely raw diet that is shipped to them on a subscription basis.

My dog is 4 years old today and weighs 80lbs he was (85lbs). He no longer gets tables scraps because I won't let him go near my dad. He's finally losing weight but needs to go down to 65lbs. He's an English Cream Golden Retriever that eats Purina Sensetive Skin and Stomach (3 cups per day). I want to give him the best dog food avilable. What do you recommend? He broke his leg when he was young so he also eats vetriflex vitamins to help his joints and gets a greenie but I'm starting to brush his teeth. Also, he has allergies. I really just want to give him the best and help him have the best life. I found you because I keep hearing that Carna4 is great as well as Orijen and Essence. If there is anything you suggest can you please tell me why I want to learn but i really need help. Thank you!
