This cage setup is so cute! I'm gonna be saving up for rhe dream guinea pig setup and do better this time. My 2 piggies passed away due to health complications I probably could of controlled 💔💔💔💔🤮😭

Your piggy room is beautiful. I wish I could do that to my piggies room. My piggies are happy. I got a bigger C&C cage for them. They currently have a 2×4 but I upgraded to a 2×6. I didn't put it together yet because we are going to paint and put new flooring in the room then assemble the cage.

for waffles, you can try using baby stacking cups. my piggies also never used toys, but I tried them out (hide pellets and treats in them) and they LOVE it!

It’s 100% personal preference! You could keep it long and just trim it often or cut it short with a pet grooming razor like I have.

Some gpigs are just smaller! They could also be younger. I happen to have some larger pigs.

Hi! Since guinea pigs are social animals, you will want to have two. I recommended finding a local rescue that can match a second guinea pig with your first one. You’ll want at least 10 square feet of cage space, with at least two hides, some toys, & a water bottle/bowl. You’ll want to feed your piggie unlimited grass hay (Timothy or orchard), 1/8 cup high quality Guinea pig pellets per day (I use oxbow garden), & one cup of veggies per day. I usually include sweet peppers with these veggies and do a few other things too like romaine lettuce, cilantro, parsley, etc. hope this helps!

when one of your guinea pigs have a dark nipple what does that mean?

it's probably just the color of their skin. like some guinea pigs have white nails and some have black, some have white skin and some have black skin underneath their fur. if your guinea pig is white but has dark nipples that's a little odd, but if they have a dark fur color in that area and dark nipples that's very normal

No. Waffles is an intact male, so he couldn’t live with any females because he would get them pregnant. Him & Rocket (neutered male) don’t get along so live side by side. And up top, they don’t all get along. Theoretically they could live together as cinnamon (neutered male) and four girls, but when I tried to bond them it failed and blood was drawn. At the moment, these are the pairings and cages that work best.
