This video introduces a novel stability seal bunker technique that uses roofs on twig half walls.

PLACING THE ROOF IS NOT PATCHED! * make sure to move far enough back, all the way into the chute, when you place it * make sure that no object, sleeper, sleeping bags, ... are in the way. Check BOTH floors

Dabbassador, try crouching and moving a bit left and right. Alternatively check whether you placed any item in the way. It definitely works

This might be relevant for some of you guys then: i just got glitched through the walls when closing the door with the mailbox inside. so i got stuck in the honeycombing. luckily that happened on a building server.

Excellent video and one of the best starter bases at the moment. Great for early into the wipe and fantastic while rockets are not yet commonly available. Excellent to delay building a larger base by a day or two and instead collect mats and BPs until you run into storage issues. Research tables and repair bench can both be picked up without damaging them - just store them in a box and pick them up after use. It was an honor to do the raid testing!

Wow dude, this is the first solo/duo base design I've seen in a long time that actually impresses me. That's a lot considering I've played since the game came out, great job. I'll definitely have to try this. Plenty of storage, honeycomb, lots of doors to loot, un-lootable loot room, bunker-esq design, not too big, and can be built in chunks. You've ticked every marker needed for the perfect Vanilla solo/duo/trio base and I salute you sir. Only thing I might improve upon is making it not one roof to loot room after 2 doors. Still an expensive raid considering they need to blow the 2 doors, roof, window, and then another door to get TC.

@Yare Yare to make foundation wipe harder? Sometimes you can loot stuff below walls when the bags fall after foundation is destroyed. And if you need to log out before making honeycomp this is kinda wise thing to base as hard to raid as you can.

Another solution is to sacrifice a bit of the shooting floor. You can, e.g., instead of placing windows behind one of the wooden double doors, place solid walls and use the space (2 triangles) to place at least 4 large chests

You are the most creative and best base-builder I have seen on KZfaq. I saw many nice looking bases on KZfaq, but I have never builded one like that, because I always found weak sides. Hi Duck, thanks for the kind words! This particular stability trick was discovered by Zedge, who gives me a lot of ideas. It's pretty hard to develop ideas in a vacuum, so I watch a lot of build videos and exchange myself with a lot of other builders. For example, I came up with the original way of sealing off bases via stability while watching videos on stability trap bases. Ah yes, and for the bases, I spend a lot of time iterating through many designs, refining them, ... until I am satisfied

Yo Evil Wurst, this base is actually enjoyable af ! hmmm, i'd try this but also making a stairs + rooftop in X to go in on the entrance just to make it even stronger... costs are a bit higher cuz you gotta make the base wider, but that means more space for more loot inside... I just built this on a PVE server. I had some issues, mostly to my inexperience. I found that you can jump up from the furnace if you crouch on it and edge forward first. I found that to place the temporary roof I had to crouch on the chute furnace. I could not get my boxes to crowd in like you do. I would appreciate an entire video on how to position boxes! Thanks, I love the way this can be built in stages, that is well thought out.

By hitting the upper triangle loot room with 1 incen rocket, it will drop the roof right away. Upgrading the twig wall to wood solves the problem completely. cool design.

Yeah, that's true, though since this requires special knowledge, the rocket launcher, and the incendiary-rocket blueprint, I think it's okay to leave it twig on the first night at least

Jumping up with a furnace is fairly easy if you put a campfire next to it in one of the other corners of the triangle

Would recommend doing the half wall before doing the upstairs and laying out the floor and then doing the upstairs as it will add one layer to the roof adding maximum protection.

I tried the Base on a fresh x10 Server: of course it got Raided, but apparently it gave them a really hard time!!!! First they tried to take the easy way through the doors, I had traps everywhere but it didn't stop them in a big way. But your idea with the furnace where you jump down must have been a pain in the a** ;) They actually used so many explosives to get through the walls (everything sheet metal and hqm) so the shotgun traps don't show in their faces xD Thanks man, I will use your design in the future, and of course, try to make it even better!!!!!

Thanks for sharing this, bro! The base is way too weak for a 10x server. Maybe you want to look into a bigger base or go to a vanilla server? In any case, it seems you observed one of the very important lessons of traps : in most places, they are easy to drain or to shoot out, but not when they are below a drop-down chute! Best of luck!

@EvilWurst Nice Base Design, you can solve the Problem with the Furnace quite easy, just place a campfire next to the Furnace, sneak on the Camfire, then crouch jump on the small Furnace and then into the doorframe or whereever u want to jump up;) So u dont have to find a Mailbox, even if they are very easy to get. Love your Server btw! Good ping, good Performance, no Lags and awesome Plugins, best Building Server I ever was on!

nice dude this looks really good might gonna use it next bp wipe. the only issue i see is that someone could go deep really easily on this base until you build the top floor airlock with the double door. if you want to could you make a somewhat secure starter base that you can expand with a shooting floor to take heli in the first few hours of the wipe? :)

If you open the double door of the TC loot room before opening the single door, it blocks the entrance as well, i.e., you have your airlock right there

Don't place a small box below workbench or you won't be able to place roof. Nice build. I hope in the future you make a solo/duo base. With a dropbox/smelt room after airlock. Because as a solo player on vanilla this base is a bit to big for me. Cuddos

i built this base twice now and i use double doors everywhere because i always find a garage door which i can then use to replace the sheet double doors. next important thing i do is that i upgrade the walls, the roof and the floor of the unlootable loot room to sheet metal if not armored (this cannot be done once you have built the unlootable loot room and added honeycomb). third point is that i make one less window on the upper floor, i just place a sheet wall instead so i can place the tier 3 work bench and add a garage door, so its protected. just my 2 cents.

Try putting tc in honeycomb and put a fake tc in main loot. Funny I used this design before with the shelves and fake tc along with the shotgun trap roof airlock trick. Got me an ak on day 2

I just build this base on a building server. I had some trouble with placing the roof until I opened the single door and placed the roof from outside the room :/ But I could build up my "unlootable room" like I am used to with four big boxes and six small ones. The furnaces don't block any boxes in my build and I did the same as you did for testing.

The base designe is great but one little mistake is that you didn't metal the last floor so the cheapest way to raid is 23 satchels 1 stone floor 1 door and 1 garage door.

Looks cool. You say use early. But as a solo or even duo. I find any bigger a base, and your playing a game called farm :) not rust. Really liked it though. I think the bunker thing is a must really. Although I don't do it O_o

Yes, absolutely, it's also ideal if your play style is "throw a base down and then go PVP"

I think the biggest weakness of your bases is the lack of single door airlocks with a triangle foundation that prevent people from going deep. Building these bases on heavy populated servers is always a huge risk of someone going deep on the base. Its pretty much the only thing I think your bases lack and its something I always end up having to modify in your base design.

In the starter 3x1, you can open the double door before opening the single door. The double door will block the entrance so nobody can get in

i see people asking if this will be fixed.. why would it be? it's not a bug, nor a glitch.. you can break foundations and things above it will crumble.. that's by design. if they "fixed" it, it would be pretty messed up that nothing can hold something up... so then we'll have bases floating in the air.. lol.

Would it make sense to alter the 2nd floor triangle (the one with the chests) and turn that into a second chute towards a third floor? Or would I run into complications? I'm currently running this build, by my self, on a small cap, small team/solo server. It's excellent, but I'm running out of space! I'm sure I wouldn't have this problem on a more populated server. Thoughts?

Last time we ran this base as a duo, we also ran out of space and we also had roof access. We ended up building another base. Having multiple bases is always a good idea, as they can give each other flanking fire

I was trying to build one with a second layer, you can fit a nice auto turret where the workbench would be on the ground, but I was struggling to find a good way to do the airlocks/ ramps, what would you do, also make an updated one it’s great

Yes, good point, I don't think this base expands very well. Since I designed it to be an early wipe base, I did not put any emphasis into expandability I am currently working on something that might become a slightly bigger, more expandable version of this. It will take some time though before I can upload it

Phew, no, I don't think this works with this base. I'd rather use this base to bridge the time to farm blueprints and materials, and then build a main base, such as kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ntClqLdy0py1dHk.html

so quick question where would you put a tier 2/3 bench? I thow this is a starter but i was planning on using this for solo survival

I would replace the tier 1 work bench with the tier 2. If you are determined to get a tier 3 workbench you could try to make the main loot room a normal loot room (with door and shelves) and then place it next to the door to the chute. Best, try it out on a build server, such as WankBank first

they can blow the door frame that is stone behind the metal roof instead of blowing the metal roof, i mean not bad for such a small base, but With my play style i feal like trio would not fit in there, like i would use it as solo base, unless i use it as starter base as u said, would be good for starter base early bp wipe. but to annyone building this i would sugges making the door frame behind the roof metal.

Why is it an issue if the door frame is stone? There is still the half-height sheet metal triangle which continues to cover the chute. Am I missing something?

they can backpick the doorframe and crouch under the metal triangle to avoid it entirely. he is right, i did the same build and that doorframe should also be metal. other than that great job.
