Picked Up A New 6.7 Motor With Only 27K On It!!!! Score??????

4 жыл бұрынSometimes we catch some serious flak for telling people to be cautious about buying Common Rail motors. Well, now true to our spirit of transparency, we share with you the recent 6.7 we picked up. Did we do our homework? Are we bad mechanics? Are we new to buying a Cummins motor? Nope... But Sometime you just can tell till you get the cylinder head off if you have lucked out or come up short!

We thought too, till we found the piston with the melted top! It was a huge bummer. I am sure it would have run (with some blow by) for a while. And with my luck, it would have run really well right up till I was hauling something heavy and was out of state! Then let loose! Hope you have a great day!

Solar Ryan no 5.9 or 6.7 Cummins is wet sleeve. There’s pro and cons to both. You can have one dry sleeved tho if you want.
