@@erikvermolen8371 RvP v Martial is close only because Martial has been with us for like 7 years. I think Zlatan is the best one though, 25+ goals despite having played only 75% of the season after his injury. Won us the Carabao Cup and scored vital goals in the Europa as well.

@@jamiekerr9246 That's not true, the most goals Martial has ever scored in a single season is 23 (not saying that's a bad amount) which was in the 2019/2020 season. RVP scored 30 in a season, Zlatan scored 28 in a season and Rooney has scored 27 in a season.

It's mental how the fixtures have worked out for both our senior sides, Both have Brighton back to back! As for the decade 11, Can't say it was easy to name but this is what i came up with: De Gea Valencia Smalling Blind Shaw Carrick Herrera Fernandes Mata Rooney Rashford Maybe not the best players we have had in that time but im factoring in length of time at club as well, I don't see a way you can name any of this season's arrivals in a decade 11 at this time

You guys confuse me are we talking just how good they were here or all time? Because clearly Zlatan, Cavani, Rooney are all loads better than Martial at nearly any point in their careers stat wise. And I love Martial. I just feel like Martial is the only striker we've had that wasnt shit or over the hill in the last 5 or 6 years. My team though DDG Valencia/ Rio(Or Martinez)/ Varane /Shaw Casemiro/Herrera/Bruno Mata/Rooney/Rashford

Can’t believe Pogba got picked over Herrera for that midfield slot. Pogba had a 10/10 performance once every 10 games the rest of the time he was like a 5/10 or worse. Herrera was always atleast 8/10 every single game and he always gave 100% when Pogba would give up

Putting pogba in is just ridiculous. Go and re watch the old games back and you'll see how many goals he gave away by losing it on edge of his own box trying to dribble past players. Honeslty the amount of times this happened was crazy. And thats excluding all his giving away stupid penalties and red cards. Herrera, Carrick and Matic all gave miles more than Pogba gave in his time. This revision of pogbas time here is very irritating just because every now and again he'd hit a quality 50 yard pass. Skillful player who was undisiplined and selfish.

Striker i would say cavani. Him and zlatan where probably the best strikers we have had the last decade. But imagine now cavani up front under ten hag. We could have more points right now with him in the team and the title challange could still be on. He would have been perfect for ten hag, i believe.

Is this 2010 - 2020? Evra Rio Vidic Rafael probably, Giggs Rooney DDG, RVP, trying to think of anyone from latter 10teens, Rashford probably because better than Valencia though is it longevity and Valencia at RB?? Nani’s best seasons were circa 10-12 when we won the league twice

Not sure what debate there would be with this, if its since 2020 you'd put every current player (including new signings) this season above any Ole player If its between 2010 and 2019 then it's basically the old guard of Rooney, RVP, Rio etc

Really? You're forgetting how much of an improvement from previous couple of years some of these names were between 2019 and 2021 for Ole getting 3rd 2nd and lots of cup runs falling just short, scoring for fun and standing up to every big team including City. Cavani Greenwood Rashford Pogba Fernandes Maguire (yes) Wan Bissaka Shaw Martial (2020)

Ibra for Martial surely. Apart from Casemiro / De Gea I'd argue Zlatan was the best performing player we've had past 10 years for the time he was fit.
