According to the comics, the Demoman’s body spent 10 years getting nutrients from grain alcohol and aspirin. Now, he can’t go with out having an alcoholic drink with his meal or else his body will think it’s poison.

I literally just realized that they had different voice actors for the meet the demo bit. I noticed it in some of the later scenes, but that one part of meet the demo slipped entirely under my radar. Excellent job!
