Pilgrim Deaths in Mecca Put Spotlight on Underworld Hajj Industry

More than 1,300 people died making the Islamic pilgrimage of hajj in Saudi Arabia this month, the vast majority of whom the Saudi government said did not have permits. Many walked for miles in scorching heat after paying thousands of dollars to illicit or fraudulent tour operators.
While pilgrims with permits are transported around the holy city of Mecca in air-conditioned buses and rest in air-conditioned tents, unregistered ones are often exposed to the elements. In recent days, as temperatures surpassed 120 degrees, some pilgrims described watching people faint and passing bodies in the street.

Astray people say so .. Hajj is not tourism trip or religious tourism .. It is an invitation from God to review yourself before death & going back to Him for judgement .. no power knows when/where/how your last day would be .. no power except God knows it ..

It's very expensive so elders have to save for many years and go alone family hajj is extremely expensive, so going alone is a big risk you need to be young and strong with the right facilties

Muslims bury the dead within 24 hours (3 days max). Why? Muslims do not believe in embalming . . . I attended my Muslim neighbor's funeral in California, at a cemetery with a Muslim section. His body was wrapped in a white cloth, placed in the ground, then covered with dirt. No casket. No burial vault. The body is allowed to decompose naturally. That is how all Muslims are buried.

The Holy Quran warns Allah will judge all mankind by their hearts and deeds. For every good deed Allah will increase it 10 times. Each sin is counted just once. Further Allah tells man to protect the churches, synagogues, and mosques. There is no compulsion in religion and mankind is responsible for his/ her actions.

So many pilgrims died, instead of meracles. Can we say death is meracle? Do not blame Saudi govt. You are taking the risk yourself and even your God whom you say is true God does not protect you.
