My brother loves Topsy Turvey. I generally avoid "true story" films so I haven't gone there. But I grew up addicted to the Mikado & Pirates, and like Patience because I am a massive Oscar Wilde fan, as you'll notice if you keep watching my videos. (Please do! I am enjoying your commentary.)

@@paulthomas3247 I'm enjoying your videos and so happy I found them! I love Wilde, too, and was reading him by at least ten years old: "The Selfish Giant", "The Happy Prince", and could quote from the 1952 version from early on - unbeknownst to me, it was my introduction to Joan Greenwood (that and the movie version of "Tom Jones"). I'll definitely be looking for more of your content! (Also, I'd say that "Topsy Turvy" is a fun, touching, sometimes sad ride, with lots of glimpses into life in Victorian England, which is much up my alley. If you ever do want to get into "true history" films, this is a good place to start).
