@@tdjkhazard4522 yes! Did Deer Valley many times, the Kinzu Dam Canoe Trip, and the Appalachian Trail hike/ Ohiopyle Rafting. At Deer Valley I was told I was part of the last camp to go over to the old grave yard at night.... it was mayhem... never saw a rattler... I looked a while ago and to do the adventure trips (Hiking/Canoe) campers have to be in 9th or 10th grade? When I went 6th grade was the earliest a camper could sign up and i lied when i was in 5th grade to go on the Kinzu and Appalachian trips.... 9th grade..c'mon man! Peace!

Most Big Buck hunters have hunted or heard of Caswell an it's hunting. Whatever you Hunt really Caswell has it, as far as quail,dove,turkey,bear,deer. They've gamelands only certain time's hunting is allowed, its HUGE woodlands too probably quessing 15by15 mile's in diameters wide, I've seen from above in a plane, beaver dam's going for hundreds of yards wide. It's almost breathe taking to think about it.. Ivr seen it, Ran deer dog's all over it in the mid 80's ,scariest thing ever to happen to me while on a hunt 30 miles from my house now, Not in Saskatchewan, Right next door really, anyway My Best Friend from Middle School they call it Now but we where ,by all intense and purpose already grown men, Drove big rigs to haul tobacco to the action houses, Drove Bull Dozzer's on the farm, tri-axle dump trucks. We where 13 an 14 year's Old... Anyway, craziest thing ever happen on a hunt was. We'd been training 3 Redtick hounds ad we called it "to run Bucks Only" an we had been pretty lucky gambling with the Older Guy's at the Hunting Club so far. Wr took the pup's an by pup's I mean 1 or 1an a half year old dog's, they're strong but still stupid. We went about a mile down a Creek called Hogan's Creek Very Big Woods, Very Big Creek, anyway I took the dog's around behind what we expected to be bedding for deer, turned loose an hauled ass back around to my Bud Chris Scott, born an breed in these woods an in Caswell Co. NC. Wr heard the jump! Something didnt sound right to me, but I'm a 14 Year old Kid an Green as they come... I jumped down off pick up truck, clicked safety off my Rimington 1100, coming an coming Fast.. Suddenly I Heard strange sound coming from Chris, My partner, My Besty, My Homey, My Bro frm anthr Ma. He was jumping in the truck, cranking the truck laughing so hard I thought he'd started drinking early without me... I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO THINK?? Then I Heard that different sound coming from them pup's AGAIN.. ..Really close this time, I was thinking Chris is going around in Case they turn an come thru the pines instead of the hardwoods where I'm standing with a shotgun loaded with slug,buckshot,slug,buckshot,slug no plug in because it's legal... Suddenly I HEARD THEM BASTARD'S COMING,I could smell'em before I saw them. I had the cognitive ability to think in a milli-second, I've got a 12guage shotgun 2 pockets full of shell's... Am I scared or can I be a badass an kill'em all. I'd never even seen wild hogs in my life, an only heard story's That I didn't necessarily believe in the 1st place... I was starting to look around for the truck an Chris was Blue an Red LAUGHING SO HARD, pulling away from me an pointing up into the tree's... I turned around about Time a hog, Black an Red lookin snarling an foaming at the mouth, Busted through That brush.. Probably 40yards away or so. Looked like 5 yards to Me...?! BIG as he was! 2nd thoughts thru my mind, Bust his ass,No closed season, No bag limit! I swear, that's what I thought about 2nd. . After my second or Third shot... And I could see fur flyin in every Direction behind him.. I had, No doubts about my aim, until I started reloading another shell into my shotgun, for it was empty already and My Little spot in the Woods was getting full of hogs an squelling Little pig's an stinking bloody hounds.... I wanted to be in a deer stand or in a truck, More an More! Mili-second by Mili-second I was wondering How Chris knew So Soon after the Jump.... an then amble over to the truck and pull away from me... HAHA, SO FUNNY! if I live Boy I'ma bust Your ass with 1 or 2 these useless shot shell's.... They sure don't work on hogs anyway! Hi Justin you ok??? yeah i am one lucky guy to have experienced such a sacred ceremony as a snake dream catcher dance our ranch is on route to Tombstone so we get tourist past on the old road in to town we have a part of the ranch for horse riding trips and Indian folk dancing including the dream catcher snake dance }} depending on the season all snakes are treated with the utmost respect all visitors are safe from snake bit on route to abandoned mining towns horse riding trips into desert areas }} we do carry anti snake bit serum just as a precaution.. just a little info for you Justin again many thanks for your interest in my comment ..... Tradition? Not so much, out of the hundreds of deer hunters I know in PA, I’d say less than 10% have ever set out to go rattlesnake hunting. And food? Depends on who you ask. The rattles and skin of these snakes are what most hunters are after. Tanning the skin and using it for leather work is especially popular. Their population in PA has been healthy for centuries, although most don’t understand this as the snakes rarely venture beyond their dens.

I believe it is the most remote area of wilderness in the northeastern part of the country. If you ever get the chance to visit, it is my #1 recommendation for people who are not from the area. I couldn't disagree more. They may be educated in finding snakes but from a conservation point of view this is a very uneducated and unethical thing to do. The big guy was even saying he wanted one to mount. Trophy hunting for what was very recently a candidate species for listing as threatened or endangered is not what I would call a smart thing to do. The science used to remove from the candidate list was weak at best.
