Got this tape a few months ago , what I can say is that before you can get into any of the fun stuff you're going to have to spend a lot of time on the fundamentals . I felt like this tape required you to have internalised the basics like scales , chords , chord inversions etc before actually using it . Otherwise its a well produced tape by a well rounded musician.

I thank GOD I found this video/ video series. I've been a huge "fan" of your work since I purchased Unlocking the Keys off of show me that.com Years ago. I found that your teaching is so to the point . I Love that I found an instructor that doesn't have ADHD (I actually do have it!) or use silly little anecdotes or loves to play so much that they forget they're instructing someone. Also, I like that you promote creativity verses copying what you play. I teach classical only, but I'm making this DVD mandatory for my students, here in Switzerland. As, we are trying to promote more creativity alongside reading music!!!

These lessons are great. I bought them as a gift for myself. This has to be the best investment I've made, for myself, in 2012. Just want to say 'Thank You' to the PSM family. Question for KC: at the end of this video, you went into an creative mode. Whatever that was that you were playing, connected to me instantly. Brother, do you have a full copy of THAT. Granted it was a creative moment, but I've got to learn that!!! That sounded like WORSHIP to me!!!

How did you get all 88 keys so PERFECTLY positioned and ALIGNED??? Most only have 61-76 - and if they do have 88, their on screen keyboard doesn't match up perfectly. I'm new to American Jazz Music and will be implementing this style into my teaching.

Hey thanks for the lessons! Helps a lot... Have one quick question... In the "Play like me part 2" lessons while talking about chords progressions, the left hand pretty much stays on progression (ex: 2 5 1), but the right hand plays 4 4 5... How do you decide what chords to play in the right hand?
