@@slpguy6026nah bro that's a stupid rule, if he had been aiming for his head he could have given him a concussion a serious one at that because it'd be the back of his head, so I'd say attempted assault should definitely be penalized way harder in a NON-CONTACT SPORT especially compared to just stepping on the court

I 100% get the sentiment, but I really think the rule is to enforce safety for the players. Benched players jumping onto the court without permission from their coaching staff is usually for something we don't want to see. Unless what you came to a basketball game for was to see a fight. And to enforce the rule is to abide by it unflinchingly to protect the sport and protect the players/audience/etc.

Grand Canyon is the only Division I, for-profit college. Division II has Post University, Academy of Art, and Salem International University. Division III had Daniel Webster College, but they were absorbed by Southern New Hampshire University within the last decade. I'm mildly surprised SNHU is nonprofit due to their aggressive advertising. As for coaches, the NCAA recently expanded the number of full-time assistant coaches allowed from 3 to 5. You also have trainers, graduate assistants, stats people, etc. I read an article about how aggressively Grand Canyon was investing in their sports programs, so that follows. I instinctively root against them and nothing else I've read about GCU has suggested that my instincts were wrong.

@@newyorkinwyoming, thanks. Before posting, I sometimes ask myself whether anyone else would want to read what wrote. I'm not going to say that I internet wrong, just differently. You raised some interesting questions. I didn't know about what non-Division I for-profit colleges there were, so I was going to look that up whether I responded or not. On this topic, DeVry (Atlanta) holds several men's basketball records. Granted, they stem from losing 253-141 to Troy State 1992. However, that DeVry was an NAIA Division II school and Troy State was NCAA Div II, so to the records have loads of caveats. I strongly recommend the Secret Base KZfaq video on this game. It's hilarious and very well-crafted as are nearly all of Jon Bois's videos. It's very much worth the half hour to watch. The entire Pretty Good series of which this is part is excellent.

It's wild that schools with BILLIONS in endowments and who's tuition has raised twice as fast as inflation are considered "non-profit."

I'm surprised you didn't do a video about that college swimmer who got DQ'd over some nonsense.

How can you try and score on offense, then when the other team tries to score all of a sudden it’s bad sportsmanship because they are winning. Unwritten rules are so dumb man

I love it. Idk basketball terms much but if im not mistaken thats 2 ejections? One for throwin a ball at a player. Makes sense... and the other for... stepping inches onto the court??? The fuck?

Seems basketball could benefit from a wall separating the bench from the playing area like hockey has.
