i would say this shouldn't be an issue but they would need to bring release dates. That in my opinion is the only thing wrong with the showcase. everything else was fine, I thought all the games looked like fun regardless of graphics and that includes Dave the diver but I also thought the same of the Xbox showcase (which did have dates so that was good). as an old school gamer I've been used to games being fun rather than looking amazing. the issue I have is £70 per game is way too much.

Reality is Xbox always had first party games, PlayStation never did. PlayStation relied on third party since the original PS1, Spyro, Crash, Final Fantasy. All the big titles were third party. So nobody's to blame for PlayStations drought except PlayStation. Microsoft has been making games since Age of Empires at least.

And funnily enough Nintendo relied on outside studio using Nintendo IP to make games for them aka 2nd Party. (Fire Emblem and Intelligent System, Pokemon and TPC, Kirby and HAL Laboratory).

Let's not forget how Sony loves to flex it's own money & cut exclusive content deals, it almost seems like a handicap. (These eventually made it to other consoles after a great deal of time passed but here are some off the top of my head) assassin's creed brotherhood having an exclusive content batman arkham asylum having joker as an exclusive playable character, red dead redemption 2 having a full outfit, weapon and horse exclusive for a year To hogwarts legacy having an exclusive shop & still let's not for exclusive example is when a mortal kombat game, actually had Kratos as an extra character only on Playstation. Sony fans can say Microsoft is using money to its advantage, however the examples I just gave also show Sony is jsut as guilty of it over the years

Death stranding wasn't a blockbuster neither did it reach critical acclaim it also didn't sell well. Took almost a year for kojima to recoup the cost of production.

I have an xbox, and I still enjoy the State of Play, Nintendo direct, PC gamer live events... All in all, I like the comfortable feeling you get when watching game events, like the SummerGameFest and whatnot... And never once did I do any cheerleading for my Xbox or Microsoft... Nothing but glorified walking sims. Indiana Jones almost made me excited but then I saw it was first person. So forget about the action sequences that made Uncharted great. And Hellblade 2? Pathetic, its a God of War clone with none of the action. Avowed is Oblivion with a new filter over it while being stuck in first person view.

Why Gamecube version? If anything, visually it looks brilliant, great visuals and atmosphere. Melee also looks good enough, what needs a lot of work is gunplay, it doesn't feel and sound impactful enough, they only need to improve on that really.

Yet during the show some ponies were capping hard. Marlon gaming acted all hype over Sonic😂😂... If Microsoft showed the exact same thing he would have complained it's not good enough for a show. Silent hill 2 looked like a last gen PS3 game where even resi evil revelations looks just as good, plus silent hill is massively overrated🤷🏿♂️. MBG believe ls the show was incredible 😂... Personally stellar blade looks dope(I'm a fan of Neir and bayonetta etc), and that was it. DS2 did look good, but so did DS1 and that ended up being boooring and mediocre.

@@WaveForceful man that's less time than I put into scarlet. I have 70 hours in scarlet. I really don't consider a game good if it can't hold my attention for at least 80 hours. Even if it's for stupid reasons like rdr2 keeping me occupied looking for ghosts.

I have a playstation and 3 kids. Spiderman was literally the only time they have touched that console. The rest of their game time is Xbox or vr. I personally like all the consoles for different reasons. I'll never understand hating a game console

I thought it was a solid show, mostly because Rise of the Ronin, Stella Blade, and Death Stranding 2 had good showings. The biggest disappointment was the Silent Hill Remake. Why the hell are they promoting combat for a psychological horror?

@conrad6701 even when he does bash Xbox he NEVER puts it in the thumbnail. Just like when Spider-man 2 didn't win any awards, both the title and thumbnail was all over it. Then he only briefly mentions Starfield and then it's back to bashing spider-man again for the rest of the video.

I do agree to a certain extent that Japanese game developers need to (learn) talk English during international showcases and events. Every developer from any country talks English, the major language. These developers are very intelligent so I doubt they can’t speak or understand it.
