Thank you for reviewing these. They look like they will add a lot of functionality to the Pocket 2. We are in Southern Spain and so suffer in the same way with very bright scenarios during the day. Having these will open up shooting in the daytime rather than just the evening and morning when the sunlight is strong. Nice work in the evenings too! Although we live in the middle of nowhere, so not a tail light to be seen after dark! Keep up the good work! 😉

Good video, enjoy the FREEWELL filters and have to use them sometimes in winter in the middle of the day. I use them much in summer and I also have the wide-angle lens which was good and have not tried the DJI one. Only thing to remember the warranty doesn't cover losing them and sorry to say I've lost a few. Replacements I've bought. Now the first Pocket 2 would whip closed and there goes the filter. lol.. DJI fixed that now it waits for you to take the filter off which is good because my other Pocket it doesn't matter. I do also have the 1000 and have not done much with it but maybe before spring see what it can do. Have a good day Mate..

Nice Comment David Fitz... You make some good points that I didnt mention, I suppose if you loose it Yeah, thats hard to replace, but Yeah its easy to knock these things off, I think that is part of their business model :) That 1000 ND would be nice to do long exposure at a waterfall or something, or any body of water, would be interesting to test it.

Hi HTG, Thanks for this video. They do seem to be really good filters albeit expensive. The only thing is that they are adding a yellow tint to everything. Its hard, it really depends on your end goal, KZfaq is Hard game, I saw your video, you have a good voice for KZfaq, and alot of honesty.. Cameras will only assist you in your Goals, the Guys that "make it" on KZfaq have a clear vision of what they want their videos to look like, what they are making their videos about (Im still learning what I need to do also) ... If you want the best camera for KZfaq and general Filming .. Probably Sony a7siii ... its expensive, the Sony a7c is a good alternative for half the price, Pocket 2 is good enough, Sony zv1 is also good and does alot of things well... Like I said, depends on what you are doing, if you wanted to make videos like this kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i9CpaZeevr6moGw.html ... which use Sony a7siii which is why I been saving alot, to up the create side..but costs a fortune. KZfaq is interesting, its the Great Equalizer, it does care who you are, or what your situation is, Good content can come from anyone, saying that.. its much harder to succeed than most know, even to get to 1000 subs is hard dedication and you dont scratch the surface, the guys that make it tend to put alot of time, years

I have polar pro NDs from my Osmo pocket 1 and they fit / work fine on my Pocket2... however when you power off the gimbal doesn’t complete it’s rotation back into the correct position so you can’t fit it back in the case. I have to either remove it first, or after power off rotate the gimbal 180° the other way = either way not ideal! I wonder if polar pro have launched new NDs for pocket 2 that will have a low enough profile to prevent this issue? 🤷‍♂️

Hey Im All Abroad, the video was a little fast over that part.. Bascially each one will stop a different amount of light, so If you aint manually exposing, the ND filters can slow down your shutter speed in different lighting in order to create motion blur, or simply control light hitting your sensor.. it always depends on lighting, its all about getting exposure right, since we cant adjust the aperture

@@HowToGuyChannel you cant shoot 4k 60 with handle attached? really? I can see logic of Cine D because that must be only 30 for grading. But an MP4 4k 60 should be there regardless. He complains there was no MP4 option in 4k 60, and he thinks it came after he downloaded the HRD firmware upgrade. It recorded he said only in MOV. Which is problematic for editing. I read complaints on web on Pocket 1 and some from 2 about not being able to edit 4k 60, and that the answer is to create editing Proxies. But that's not right. I never have that problem with my gh5. I make sure I'm recording 4k 60 as an MP4. anyway, he says he can only edit the stuff in 1080 codec not 4k, and that the option to record 4k 60 in MP4 has disappeared from his settings. You da big expert on Pocket so I thought perhaps you could shed some light on this. Good job of Freewells, helped me. I usually only need a 2 stop ND in sunlight with the gh5, but i'm shooting with a 3.5-5.6 zoom, not a 1.8 aperture like Pocket. but your video was educational for me. thnx
