My favourite James Swallow story of Doctor Who was 'Peacemaker'. It's a fantastic story and I loved it.

Dear Gerry Anderson Podcast, I have a fact about Fireball XL-5 that I bet you didn’t know, When the series aired on NBC in America in the mid 1960s, Fireball wasn’t the first show on that channel to feature the line “That’s what YOU think”, famously said by Steve Zodiac (Paul Maxwell) in the episode “Planet 46” (Originally shown on ATV London on October 28th 1962), as a few years before Fireball XL-5 first took off (pun intended), NBC aired a stop motion Saturday Morning children’s programme called “The Gumby Show”, which premiered in 1955 as a segment on the American puppet series “Howdy Doody” before becoming it’s own show the following year, In the episode “Toy Crazy” (shown on NBC on Saturday, July 27th, 1956), there’s a line of dialogue spoken by Gumby (voiced by Ruth Eggleston-Clokey, the wife of the show’s creator, Art Clokey), where he says “That’s what you think” to his friend Pokey the Horse (voiced by Clokey himself) after he mentions that Gumby was too big for a model train, not knowing of Gumby’s ability to shrink (Something Stanley Unwin from 1969’s “The Secret Service” would be proud of, I’m sure, despite Talking Pictures not having reran that ITC distributed series yet (Come on, ITV Studios, give them the rights, they’ll treat it with respect), although, knowing the successes of Fireball XL-5, Thunderbirds, Stingray and now Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (surely that should be in the correct order of Fireball XL-5, Stingray, Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons), I hope some of the other Anderson shows get acquired), anyway, I’m getting off topic, Here’s a link to the Gumby episode incase any of you want to check it out and maybe do a side by side comparison between it and the scene from Fireball XL-5’s “Planet 46” where Steve says the same kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iJd8p6Sp09q3nqs.html
