Thats not whats right. Its not about whats right, thats not a solid universal thing. Its not so dramatic, its a simple matter of opinion. If ur confident in ur self you dont need to try dictating morality over everyone. Some people dont like it, some people do, neither are morally superior. Idk why everyones trying to proclaim moral supremacy lately, morality isnt law.
@Gixsir

@@doesntmatter4477 I couldn’t disagree more. If your confident enough it means you absolutely will stand up for people 1 who aren’t there and 2 people who can’t defend themselves. Projecting Moral superiority has nothing to do with it your just not being an asshole and calling out those who are. Morality isn’t law you are right there but it typically dictates if you suck or not.

@@doesntmatter4477 You just have a very different concept of morality, I think. You seem to think morality is only a personal thing, but it's definitely not. Here we have shane pretending there are rules to shame and fuck with schulz and crew, which they deserve, and it may well stem from generally not respecting what they do, also... totally valid. But this isn't the take... shane is pro -hate and pro-mean-hate and pro every bad thing. Just be funny and real and cool... which Schulz is not.

Not gonna lie. Shane is way too sensitive for having the style of an offensive comedian. He's made jokes about homophobia, racism, school shootings, pedophilia, and probably other offensive topics, yet he gets offended at a joke because it effected him on a personal level, and the joke wasnt even that bad. Shane is the same guy who said he rooted for the pedophiles on To Catch a Predator. Shane is being a hypocrite and has no room to be upset at the jokes made on the podcast unless he decides to stop making offensive jokes as well, which he never will. So he can either take it on the chin like everyone else or pursue a different career because comedy is not the place to get offended, especially when diabled jokes are as common as they are.

If you watch Shane’s comedy, a lot of his jokes actually involve self deprecation. Like, he won’t put somebody else down without also putting himself down to even it out. It makes him feel more grounded and relatable to his audience. For example, Shane has a joke about him coaching the Special Olympics, and the entire time he says nothing but good things about the players, he actually uplifts them, and the punchline for this joke turns out to be that the coach on the other side sees Shane standing there and thinks that the Olympics are letting one of the players coach the other team lol. His jokes, while sometimes dark, seem to come from a good place and are lighthearted. Schulz on the other hand, doesn’t do that. Almost all of his jokes are at the expense of other people. Even his crowd work, while very witty, is still typically just him making fun of an audience member’s appearance or something like that. Like, he’s got an entire crowd work bit where he makes fun of this albino black dude and tries to get him to say the “N word.” I don’t know how Schulz is off camera obviously, but he comes across as very disingenuous, and in this case, often mean spirited. While Shane in every clip I’ve seen of him comes across as a very laid back and down to earth dude. He seems more like a friend you’re bullshitting back and forth at the lunch table with than a comedian. And I think that quality is what’s contributed to his success.

You should see how he treated the teenage assistant on the Bad Friends podcast, Rudy. She can have that judgy teen attitude but everyone else on the show treats it it like an endearing joke, like your daughter not finding you cool. Shulz on the other hand tried so hard to make her seem weird/cringey coz there’s no way he could be the butt of the joke.

Very true. Joe Rogan is very good in that situation though, Rogan's stand up is mediocre at best, yet he's cool when he has top of the food chain comedians on his show and laughs his ass off.
