Super awesome video. I’m going to do the oil change and oil filter on my 2002 Polaris Ranger 500 tomorrow. I’m glad you said not to worry about the other oil plug under the motor just the one on the oil reservoir . Thank you so much for sharing

If you change your oil regularly I wouldn't worry about the little bit that is left in the motor. There is a screen filter on the suction line in the tank. I have never seen that get dirty. If you remove that then you have to pinch off the tank vent line and start the engine for a short time.

@@mossman381 oh wow that’s awesome advice. Yeah I just going to change the oil reservoir and oil filter. And fix a little nipples that is connected to a hose that going to the air box keeps coming out

As long as you don't disconnect the oil suction hose you just have to fill it back up with oil. You can do what you want with the vent hose.

I don't have a video on that. It's pretty easy. There is a drain plug and a fill plug.

Rusty sure was worried you were going to leave him. I also change oil in my mower and other equipment once a year. I never get the hours in recommended between oil changes.

Rusty loves the Ranger rides. It's a good thing because I also enjoy them. My mower gets an oil change every year too.

@@mossman381 I currently do not have a dog of my own but between my grandkids dogs and the new neighbors. They keep me busy. Its funny but they all take to me like a long lost friend.

I would love to have more dogs but the time and effort they take I can only handle one at a time. At one point I had two dogs. I would watch my sisters 2 dogs and that was a full time job in itself.

Dad picked that up somewhere. I had a really nice LED wireless worklight that I loved and used all the time. Well it disappeared somewhere. I think dad left it under his semi after he used it and who knows where it is now. I am pretty sure that is what happened to my other LED worklight too.
