Unsure theres police officers without mental health issues edit: the issue is officers with untreated mental health issues and the fact that mental health is not a priority or given enough attention. Being an officer could be the very cause of mental health problems. I was making a joke but it should be taken seriously actually.

Like some officers I worked with when I was a secretary in a big city police department; some of them simply do not need to be wearing a badge and gun. I recall one officer once patted his badge and gun and said, "This is what it's all about." I replied, "Yes, take them away and what do you have? Nothing, that's what." He stood there laughing not knowing he'd just been terribly insulted. Again, some of them do not need to be out there wearing guns and badges.

I just didn't feel like obeying the law because I was in a hurry. That being said this is the very reason we have judges so they can examine all sides of an issue. In this case. She willfully chose her behaviors. Her behaviors are indicative of someone that's never beheld accountable for their actions. Now her whole life has been ruined. I don't know her and I've never spoken to her. I speculate based on the presentation presented, that she doesn't have the clear determination to make effective changes in her life. I don't know how she was raised as a child, but I would surmise she was never punished as a child for unacceptable actions or behaviors. The entire foundation of society is based on our conduct and behaviors. I hope this was helpful in explaining my position on this. Thank you, for being so kind and respectful with your repose.

But then again…how would they know ? I’m sure HR was looking at their skills and experience written on the resume. And not questioning their sex life. Among other things which is probably why we have a lot of people on abusive power trips and have undetected psychopaths in the police department. All because they didn’t do a mental check. Most jobs don’t but I feel like - if you give someone a gun, you should probably make sure they are alright in the head beforehand.

Substance abuse is also highly co-morbid w/ personality disorders, especially Cluster B personality disorders. Forgive my getting on a soap-box here, but there is an unfortunate tendency for the media (& people in the media, *after* they've been caught behaving badly) to misattribute all kinds of bad behavior to bipolar d/o. If a person knows they have bipolar disorder, it's their responsibility to be treatment compliant (& part of that compliance is having a plan for if/when they become unable to realize they're having an episode). If a person w/ bipolar d/o is not tx compliant, they are responsible for their behavior during an episode. Bipolar d/o is not a get-out-of-jail-free card. Moreover, symptoms of actual bipolar disorder are episodic. They're not hidden or hide-able. Manic episodes are not subtle. Even mixed or hypo-manic episodes are not subtle. People in the midst of an actual mood episode due to actual bipolar disorder are not capable of normal functioning, are not making much of any effort to hide their "bad" behavior, & their dysfunction is obvious to those around them. If hypersexuality is a symptom they tend to experience during episodes, again, it is going to come across to others as blatant & bizarre. Shamelessness is not the same as blatant. Maegan's "dysfunctional" behavior was shameless but not blatant-- there was ongoing deception & attempts to conceal. Meagan's "dysfunction" was also clearly not episodic, there's nothing to suggest there was any accompanying bizarre or delusional thinking (as would be expected w/ bipolar d/o), & although she wasn't doing well at her job she was clearly able to organize herself enough to plan, engage in, & conceal her sexploits while also adequately accomplishing enough of her regular duties so to not be fired sooner (despite her repeated vehicle crashes & the added scrutiny on her performance that those caused). So, there's been nothing reported thus far which even remotely suggests that Maegan's behavior could be explained by bipolar d/o. Apparently, she has problems regulating her intake of alcohol, is impulsive, irresponsible, dishonest, emotionally immature, promiscuous, & attention-seeking. That sounds like personality disorder(s), which really should have been identified in pre-hire psych evals (even if she was dishonest during them). The entire purpose of those evals is to screen out people with these sorts of problems.

bi-polar can have maniac which is highly sexual I had men hitting on me hard at age 14 I had to freeze them out. I looked very adult for being young ( i was served booze without being carded, lol) so it was self protection. I cannot imagine the amount of pressure she faced as these same officers controlled her sense of security and well being as well as her job she literally could not consent because they all had power over her lively hood. now, if she was having sex with them before the job, then what you said matters. Just by having a say in her career, they exploited her and crossed into sexual harassment even if she never said no. I've had sexual harassment training because employers get sued for this very reason. my advise: don't piss where you eat (don't 'date' at work)

As a sociologist once said, “dick pics are the plague (for women and men), yet, tell me, would a dude with a hobby showing his electric circuit boards on date apps get more responses?” The answer is obviously no, and the nerdy dude would probably get the most hate for “being a sexually harasser putting on emotional charge on things”. That stuff is done because it is what the customer asks, because it is what works in getting the hook up in terms of energy invested vs. return. A woman will always welcome the concealed, but it is when it is in the open and when the ugly reality comes up that suddenly she does not like it. No, there is a difference between liking or not liking it just now and not liking it as a matter of principle. This woman did not belong to the Mennonite with a PhD club, clearly. She liked it then as a low IQ barbarian, but that she does not like it now (trying to insert herself into a higher society than she actually likes at that) that means not that she can say a posteriori she was sexually harassed - even though right now she feels all this material is sexually harassing to her or to a jury in all sincerity. And this is where the big schizo manipulation starts. Suckers. Yet I bet you a dime a dozen, this kerrufle will not stop police officers from being rude to men and polite to women on traffic stops, quite the opposite. That right there is the true measure of how women vs men are received (and thus treated) by these goons who cannot handle a man’s job having to deal with men in all their spectrum - because they do hate all men due to the ability of men of being capable of being violent (in both good and bad ways) and not because men are jerks. The schizo police cannot live with the adult behavior of accepting men and women as adults for what they are and with their powers. The ethnic schizophrenia of the force being said aside, this chick is now in a position of power of judging people while she is trying to scam herself out of her low IQ barbarian culture for free, and that is not acceptable but people will keep buying it.

Additional rumors about her speaking to her husband about swinging, cheating in general, and having threesomes with strangers in the past make it incredibly hard for me to not see this as entirely habitual. Tennessee never really had a high standard in my time here which goes back several decades. They tended to look in all the wrong places and for the wrong people. Tennessee POST as well as individual agencies are responsible for certain standards which hasn't seen a lot of changes in a long while. Some agencies have minimum standards that go well above and beyond what other agencies want and those are the ones you don't hear anything about. They are picky for a reason. With so many agencies short officers, they really don't have much of a choice now. A lot of regulations and policies have been omitted or waived in the last 7 years, the biggest of them are tattoos showing (they had to be covered by a uniform in the past) and facial hair is allowed at some agencies. More criminal offenses are waived than in the past as well.

Also, knowing your local police officers are willing to screw your wife is going to cause stress for the local male population. I know you're joking, but there's always some truth to a joke. There would've been all sorts of stress going on. The stress of getting caught, the stress of wondering if she's doing another officer instead of yourself, the stress of knowing there's work to be done while you're just having fun, the stress of knowing you're cheating your employer, and then of course the stress of the accusations and trial, the stress of losing your job, the stress of the public knowing what you did, ...

He did all the manic stuff like hypersexuality (with adult women), gambled away house down payment, street racing, heavy drinking, getting into fights. He also attempted suicide 3 times. Luckily when Mom packed our suitcases, he finally got treatment and responded really well to lithium and his behaviour was mostly under control when I was growing up. Honestly guys I feel bad for this woman. Someone is not the same person when they are manic and may not even remember their behaviour. I had no idea she was bi-polar. That totally changed my opinion in this case. I believe they did pressure her ( ex: wink, wink, nudge, nudge...) testing waters to wear her down . She probably didn't want to make waves and that kind of stress with that condition, ticking time bomb. I had a wonderful co-worker years ago who took short term leave to get her meds fixed. she never came back to the job. she had to detox and then get the new meds to work because her blood pressure meds were messing it all up. human chemistry is so delicate. I hear bi-polar now and I think of my former co-worker. You'd have no idea of her condition and I only found out right before she left. She was a lovely woman, gentle spirit, happily married. While yes, you are responsible for yourself, but that environment, way too easy to have ppl exploit weakness. you'd have to be made out of teflon to prevent that level of boy's club/'blue line' mentality eating away at your confidence. I really hope she wins the law suit now. No female should have to go through that, even if they said yes....they all had too much power over her for it to be on equal footing. it sounds like a sex club with a blue uniform. And now, I understand why her hubby stayed. If I was him, I'd want blood. they exploited her

In 1990 my twin sister was the first ever police woman in a small rural town in Idaho where our brother was also an officer. My sister's husband was the Chief of Police in the neighboring county. She was also an EMT and had taught the class as well as a 911 instructor. Within the first month of being on the job she started getting sexually harassed on the job from all levels of positions. They would tell she she needed to watch some training videos that actually were sex acts between multiple people, photos etc. She finally had enough after a late night 911 call came in of a man with a gun stalking a woman at her home. Not one officer would go along as backup to search the large property. They told her she had to "prove" herself as an officer and go alone. Our brother while on patrol came to assist her. The harassment continued and she finally filed a sexual harassment lawsuit. Well you can guess how that ended up. The "good ol' boys club" got away with another women leaving a career she loved. Leaving bitter and rejected. I too faced a lot of sexual harassment on 4 jobs which made me leave my jobs because of it. I never filed any claims. I just went into the background and never talked about it. Back in the 1980's-1990's nothing was done to support women regarding this issue. I feel the "Me Too" movement did nothing.

Though he does have a disclaimer at the beginning of the video that he is not diagnosing anyone, everyone comes here and does that anyway,so it degrades and stigmatises more than it does anything beneficial to the body of mental health work and information out there. He makes cheap jokes that,if delivered by someone with charisma would get a haha at most, yet he seems to deliver it with a dry demeanour which comes off as callous. Three, she was able to put her degree in biology to practical use. Four, she and the other police officers were getting it on while on the taxpayers' dime and all deserved to be fired. Five, she drank to excess. As for her lawsuit, she made these claims only after she had been fired and her reputation had been compromised. Using the bi-polar excuse can only go so far. yes obviously she makes really poor choices, she needs to own her own behavior and stop pointing the finger shes just as responsible as the others!

How embarrassing for her parents and family and family members of all the others who participated and lost their jobs.

I'm surprised she didn't take her 15 minutes of fame to OnlyFans. Seriously, that is just about the only place she can work at and she has the job experience. I'm sure she could create a down market fan base.

This sow doesn't seem bright enough to have known to capita!ize on her 15 min. After all, she did bang the WHOLE second shift of the LaVergne p.d. I know the town well, my folks live in Murfreesboro, just down the road about 7 miles. The town is a known speed trap. Anyway, i really hope she gets nothing in her lawsuit as she willingly did all the crap she now regrets. Tought titty as they say. I have no compassion for people who enter that career and them decide they are too dumb or inept to perform in it. Cheers!!

Haven't had a TV in 20 years. Now I got a regular show to watch on my phone; which though dark, is always entertaining, and with zero ads. Great job!
